comfortable to wear

Everything is good in this backpack except when it comes to taking out the water bag! The hole for passing the teat from the bag is too small and you have to struggle to get it through! I should point out that this bag is sold with the water bag.... so it seems absurd to me that it is not suitable.

Very good for bicycle trips.

Used for multi-day cycling trips and occasional mountain trips. Light, comfortable and packable.

I use it on my motorbike…

I use it on an offroad motorcycle. Good support, good fit, the side pockets are really practical. Only one downside, the holes for passing the hose are too narrow.

Review

Bag is very lightweight but not as comfortable - the chest strap is very annoying and move up very high. Not sure if it worth the money though.

I am satisfied

I use this backpack for Via Ferratas and one-day hikes. It is very comfortable, so I highly recommend it.

Practical and very light

Very good but just missing a compartment at the top of the bag for more accessibility. Too much of a catch-all

I have carried it for 100 kilometers. It has a large capacity, the front buckle is adjustable, the waist buckle can be used to stuff small things, and it comes with a waterproof bag. The only drawback is that it would be better if the strap can be used as a small pocket like an off-road bag. Overall, it is not bad.

The only flaw is perhaps the back pockets which are all very open.... Apparently the stuff inside could come out

Very uncomfortable

I'm surprised that I only read a few similar complaints in the reviews as what I experience, so maybe it's a body size issue? However, this backpack seems to me to be designed for children. • The hip belt sits at the waist (then presses on the stomach when you tighten the belt) • The buckles of the shoulder straps rub against the inside of the upper arm while walking • The thumb loops are way too high (if you were to wear the backpack a bit lower because of the hip belt) • The chest strap can pull the shoulder straps inwards a bit, which helps prevent the buckles from rubbing, but because the strap is on a kind of rail, it keeps sliding towards your throat. All in all, I think it's a terrible backpack (and so does my husband) but again, given the other mainly positive reviews, it might be a body size issue. In any case, I'm returning the backpack.

Backpack cover

Just a few days ago I realized that it doesn't have a backpack cover and I bought 2 and neither one has it, is it purchased separately?

fantastic

It just lacks…

The only thing missing is closed pockets inside.

Awesome backpack

The backpack is light, durable and surprisingly roomy. My concerns were caused by the back - at first glance it is poorly stiffened. Unnecessarily, they fit very well on the back. Great pockets for bottles, a lot of ropes for fastening. Unfortunately, there is one downside - a hopeless water bladder. The bladder catches all odors, after washing the smell of liquid lasted for a week, rinsing does nothing. It is too stiff, the drain twists in a clumsy way. I would probably give up this bladder, lowering the price. Nevertheless - I recommend it.

10-year guarantee

The guarantee covers any backpack faults, except those caused by normal wear and tear and improper use. This special 10-year warranty will only be granted upon presentation of the receipt and the product, and if the product is covered by warranty, it will be repaired or exchanged, free of charge. This commercial guarantee does not affect any statutory guarantees that are applicable in the country/state of purchase.

Durability

We take care over abrasion resistance to make your bag durable. The heavy clothing R&D department, a Quechua partner for the research and validation of its components and assemblies, performs tests (on components, seams and the finished product) simulating the ageing of backpacks. Their results allow us to guarantee the bags tested for 10 years from the purchase date shown on the receipt.

Lightweight

Because when you hike, you must wear your equipment, we think about lightness. Here at Quechua, we design our products in such a way that they are always lighter and guarantee great freedom of movement.

Product design: our expertise

Our Quechua global design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont-Blanc in Haute Savoie. This location makes it a real meeting place for our teams (designers, product managers, engineers, etc) and outdoor sports enthusiasts. A great asset for designing your mountain walking products and providing you with all our expertise.

How to care for and wash a rucksack?

We recommend hand-washing your rucksack. Use soapy, lukewarm water, possibly with a brush, focusing on the areas in contact with the body (shoulder straps, back, waist belt), where you have perspired. This is the best way for the fabric properties to be maintained, in particular the waterproofness. Then rinse well with lukewarm water, dry in a dry place away from direct sunlight (no radiator). Store in a dry place.

How do i adjust my backpack?

1 - Loosen all the straps (straps, hip belt, load adjuster straps). 2 - Put the backpack on. 3 - As this bag is small in volume, put the belt around the waist and tighten it. 4 -Tighten the shoulder straps. 5 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed

Hand luggage

When you are travelling by plane, the authorized hand luggage size is 55x35x25cm3 maximum (warning, this can vary depending on the airline). This backpack can therefore be used as cabin baggage

Product testing

To meet your requirements, Quechua products are tested in the mountains in conditions you will encounter during your hikes. Our teams, as well as a tester panel (made up of partners, ambassadors and customers), test products throughout their development until they go to market.

Storage instructions

Store in a dark, dry, well-ventilated place.
