Good product, keeps its promises
I can't rate the friction resistance because I've only had it for a short time. A little big, that is to say long: sleeves and bust.

I use this top mainly in my sleeping bag at night. It keeps me wonderfully warm! The material feels a bit scratchy, but that doesn't bother me too much. I've already thought about buying the merino pants. But I haven't had to buy them yet, because I sleep in my yoga pants, which also keep me warm.

opinion after use, wife is happy, it works great for mountain trips, it was warm uphill as it usually is uphill, but not too warm that you had to take off your jacket, after cooling down in the shelter when going down it kept the temperature properly and it wasn't too cold, despite the drop in temperature in the late afternoon.

How did we improve the durability of our t-shirt?
We use a BETA-SPUN yarn structure, i.e. the merino wool fibres are coated with a fine sheath of polyamide filaments to protect them from rubbing and cuts, without affecting the properties of the wool.
How does the wool reduce odours from perspiration?
The component limits perspiration odours. Laboratory tested according to ISO 17299-3This merino wool T-shirt can be worn for several days at a time, allowing you to carry less clothing on your trek and thus lighten your backpack!
Reducing the ”freezing effect”
Thanks to its structure, wool can absorb up to 35% of its weight in moisture without giving the feeling of being damp.In hot, dry weather, the evaporation of the water in the wool absorbs energy, which cools the body slightly at the same time.

How do i wash my merino wool t-shirt?
We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool t-shirt at 30° on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry flat. Product testing
The Trek 500 T-shirt was tested by 9 users in the Massif des Bauges in October 2019. These testers, who are independent of Decathlon, were supported by our design teams: Maïté, our product engineer, Mélanie, our designer and myself, the product manager.For 5 days, we tested this T-shirt together in cold, snowy conditions, with some fine days of walking and a number of nights in a bed-and-breakfast or bivouac.We used this test to validate the product in use.
