Used only once…

Used only once so far but no complaints. This is not a jacket for high mountains but for hiking trips in early spring or autumn it will do the job perfectly.

very good windbreaker

practical, flexible and well cut

Significant pilling

Worn a few times during half the winter and already significant pilling in the panels under the arms whose material was poorly chosen. Obviously not made to last.

The jacket itself is good but the seams look like they're about to come apart and the hood is cut far too small compared to the rest of the jacket.

I like it a lot

Very good quality-price

Great !

Very practical jacket, pleasant to wear and perfect for outings. (this is a second purchase following the loss of the first, which means I appreciate it..)

Good for winter or between seasons

Good for cold seasons

Pockets that tear :/.

As on an old model that I own and which presents the same problem, the pockets are "mesh" and tear easily. Basically, if you go hiking with your car keys in your pocket you have a one in two chance of finding a hole in your pocket and your keys lost... Disposable :/.

Good windproof jacket

Good windbreaker, however it is necessary to wear a good under layer to avoid being cold because the jacket cuts the wind well but is not very warm

Nice gel jacket

In my other Decathlon greenhouse there is a hole caused by a fire spark. So new jacket.. Only worn twice, but it is pleasant.. Not super windproof, but good for active walking.

Good windproof coats

Water-repellent product but with limits, in case of a little heavier rain the coat pierces in several places including the torso, forearm and shoulder, a little disappointed on this side. Otherwise it's a good coat for the wind and it's quite warm!

What is softshell?

It is a warm protective jacket that protects you from the wind and a short downpour (about 30 minutes) of light rain or snow. The fabric used is an assembly of 3 materials: a breathable and windproof micro-porous membrane sandwiched between the water-repellent outer side and the inner face composed of a comfortable and warm fleece.

Thermal comfort and windproof

The wind makes you feel considerably colder. With an outside temperature of 32°F (0°C) and a 10 mph wind, the perceived temperature is 14°F (-10°C).InchWindproofInch components fight the uncomfortable effects associated with this Inchfreezing effectInch. Extremely effective at reducing heat loss by creating a barrier against the wind

The main fabric used throughout the jacket, except at the sides, has a windproof membrane with a breathability of 2814 g/sqm for 24 h (according to the JIS 1099 A standard).

Water repellent property of component (not to be confused with waterproofing)

The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use.The water-repellent property can be reactivated by putting the jacket in the tumble dryer for 10 minutes on low heat.

Recommended additional product
