Good looking scouter, very light but solid..
Habe nun in den letzten Jahren schon den Dritten Roller dieser Marke und muss leider feststellen, dass die verwendeten Kugellager für die Räder von Modell zu Modell immer schlechter werden. Nun bei diesem sind besagte Lager schon nach ca. 3 bis 4 Monaten defekt. Schade eigentlich. Der Roller selbst ist super.
Leider ist bei meinem Gerät der Klappmechanismus extrem schwer und ich bin beim Ausprobieren zwei Mal "in das Gerät gestürzt" weil ich meine ganze Kraft aufwenden musste und das Rad weg gerollt ist auf dem der klappMechanismus ausgeführt werden muss. Keine Chance schnell in eine Bahn oder einen Bus zu kommen. Wahrscheinlich Montagsgerät und geht zurück. Fahreigenschaften konnten nicht geprüft werden.

Mein 10jähruger Sohn nutzt ihn sehr gerne, mitunter zum in die Schule fahren. Durch die großen Räder fährt er leicht und relativ geräuscharm. Wenn man den Dreh raus hat, ist die Klappfunktion super einfach, ganz im Gegensatz zu anderen Rollern die wir schon hatten. Die Griffe sind super hochwertig. Das einzige, was unser Sohn bereits geliefert hat ist die Klingel und das Hinterrad hat eine abgeflachte Stelle, was aber beides eher am Umgang meines Sohnes mit dem Gerät liegt. Wir würden ihn definitiv wieder kaufen!

Cette trottinette d'aspect solide se plie facilement et le contrôle du frein au guidon est parfait. Autant elle est intéressante sur sol lisse (comme en magasin par exemple!). autant une fois dehors sur le goudron, même sans grosse aspérité, il y a beaucoup trop de vibration et surtout elle fait beaucoup trop de bruit de roulement. Après plusieurs mois d'utilisation quotidienne pour aller au travail, je ne conseille pas cette trottinette!

Are there any particular safety precautions to take when using the town 7 scooter?
You should always wear protective equipment (helmet, knee pads and elbow pads) when scootering. Most serious accidents take place during the first few months of use: take the time to learn the basics of use to master speed and braking in any emergency situation and whatever the weather conditions (particularly on wet terrain).
How do you fold/unfold the scooter?
Hands-free and in one second! This is the Easyfold design. What's the trick? Simply stand opposite your scooter with the frame straight in front of you and press the pedal, and your Town 7 is folded in less time than it took you to read these instructions. Just as easy for the handles. Just push the buttons to fold them. And unfold them in one second!
Is the oxelo town 7 scooter suited to long journeys around town (1.25 to 3 mi.)?
Yes! The rubber grip on the deck and the ultra-comfy ergonomic handles with palm rests help reduce vibrations for a more pleasant ride. The TOWN 7 adult scooter also has a bell so that you can make yourself heard. Last but not least, the handlebar is slightly forward for better steering control.
What is the glide performance of the oxelo town 7 scooter?
We have equipped this adult scooter with large 200 mm HIGH BOUNCE PU rubber wheels for high-performance scootering. A large wheel makes it easier to build up speed with minimum effort. The ABEC 7 bearings are very high quality and, by making it easier for you to push yourself along, limit fatigue.

What safety precautions should you take with the town 7 scooter?
We recommend checking your scooter before and after each ride to ensure that there is no abnormal play and no cracks or sharp edges.
What should you do if there's play in the handlebar?
What with bumps in the road, repeated jarring and vibrations, it's normal for certain parts to come loose. You can have all of the screws tightened at your local Decathlon workshop or do so yourself with the Allen keys provided (designed to fit all of the scooter's parts).
How are our products tested?
All of our scooters have been lab-tested. These tests check compliance with the European standards for scooters, as well as looking for wear. For example, one of our tests involves a machine folding the scooter 10,000 times to check its folding system. As well as lab tests we do field tests - some measured and others based on the testers' opinions - to really put the product through its paces. The result is a tested, proven product.
How should you maintain your scooter?
The wheels and bearings are wearing parts. Remember to check them and change them if necessary. You can repair and extend the lifespan of your scooter with spare parts that can be ordered through your local Decathlon store's Workshop.
