The Forclaz MT 100 Series EasyFit is the best trekking backpack for my usage habits. The most outstanding feature and unique selling point is the EasyFit system, which makes it easy and comfortable to adjust the carrying system while wearing it. The material used is extremely robust and the workmanship is impeccable. The integrated pockets are very voluminous thanks to the folds that pop up and are elegantly hidden when not in use. The zippers are neatly processed and robust. The drinking bottle holder is so large that even a 1.2 liter insulated bottle with an outer diameter of 92 mm can be safely held. The lower compartment for the sleeping bag offers enough space for a three-season sleeping bag. I am very satisfied with the MT 100 so far and can only recommend it. A second compartment/outer pocket on the left lap belt would be even better!
Before this backpack I bought another backpack from another brand that cost me 3 times more, unfortunately I saw a review about the TREK 100 Easyfit 70 L and decided to buy it too and let me tell you that it is an excellent backpack. It is a backpack with traditional materials, unless you are looking for a backpack for ultra light backpacking this is not the backpack. The quality of the materials, the straps, the closures are and are exactly where you need them. The interior space and the way to access it is PERFECT, you can access anything from the bottom to the top. I will definitely buy one for my wife. The only thing I would like is if there was another color option, other than that it is one of the best things I have bought from this brand.
It would be perfect if the hip belt and shoulder straps were a bit wider, above 15 kg they are not the most comfortable, above 18 kg they cut in terribly even over short distances, but otherwise it's cool. The entire brand is limping when it comes to the color selection for men, gray, black and navy blue always dominate. Generally, I recommend it, good value for money. It works very well for classic short trips.

Bag cloth and colour combinations are awesome and carrying is easy, i loved it all, it is beyond my imaginations it full filled all my expectations, i Carry Tent and sleeping bag, tent Light head light, small Fan, Ground sheet, floor Matt, water bottle, JNL speaker and camping chair 2 and cloths for 2/3 days I feel it is perfect for me 🏕️😊✌️😀💯⛺

The backpack is comfortable and can be very easily adjusted to your back, even for taller people - I am 195 cm and the straps and the back can be adjusted to be longer than I need. Even with 12 kg loaded, it is still comfortable. (partition can be removed), that's all you have

Easyfit system
Our patented Easyfit system allows you to adjust the back height and strap tension simultaneously by pulling on one single strap (on each side). 1. Put on your bag2. Buckle and tighten the belt3. Pull the handles (from bottom to top) It’s adjusted!
Capacity
70 L volume. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method. we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container in order to determine the equivalent volume in litres, with a margin of error of just a few %.
Dying process
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we have opted for mass pigmentation called ”dope dye” integrating the colour pigments from the initial thread manufacture. This process reduces this backpack’s CO2 emissions by 35% compared to the previous model.
How to pack a backpack?
Put your bedding at the bottom. Put heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Store your clothing around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if there isn't room inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.
Why are our rain covers grey when some trekkers want them to be brightly coloured?
The grey colour is neutral so uses less dye. We also use a “bi-ton” dyeing process where only one thread in every two is dyed. This dyed yarn is also made from a bulk dyeing process which incorporates the colour pigments from the yarn manufacturing phase onwards. Forclaz is committed to improving the environmental impact of its products through these actions.
