I bought this product just before COVID hit. After 2 months of use it started making a irritating loud clunking noise with each pedal/step. After a couple of months I couldn’t stand it anymore and contact Decathlon online (as we were in lockdown) they asked me to send them a video which I did but I didn’t get a response. So I sent the request again along with the video. I was told to tighten the screws and put some wd40 on it as well with no other instruction. I proceeded to attempt to find these screws they were talking about and ended up having to remove the casing covering the pedals and screws. Still couldn’t find what they were talking about so I messaged them back telling them I could not find these screws they wanted me to put WD40 on and now I can’t put it back together and now have a useless hunk of metal in my house that I barely got a chance to use. They then tell me to drop it off in store. How on earth am I supposed to get a cross trainer into my car to take to a store that is less than 3 minutes from me and on top of that now that we are no longer in lockdown my warranty has expired. Would not recommend item nor it’s service

I just bought this recently and started using and started liking.
This was a good price it seemed. Easy to build, looks good and the system is easy to use. The problem is it squeaks ALL THE TIME. Cannot work out which nut to loosen or tighten to fix it. Will be fine for days then suddenly it squeaks so loud I can't hear the TV over it and it's then unusable.
This took a bit longer to build than the 1/2 hour the manual suggested but the instructions were clear enough and there was nothing particularly difficult about it. Unfortunately the heart rate monitoring doesn't work well, there are only sensors on the fixed handles and if I do hold them the reading fluctuates wildly. The manual suggests you can use an uncoded analogue heart strap with it but doesn't specify further it would be a significant improvement if it worked with the Decathlon Bluetooth / ANT+ strap as many of the programmes require heart rate. It is pretty quiet in operation. It also seems someone saw the previous review complaining it didn't come with a UK plug adapter as my one did.
All works as described, near silent operation. I'm dropping it a star as it does not come with a UK 3 pin power adaptor. Have to get a shaver adaptor to plug it in
CROSS TRAINER ESSENTIAL 120 I found this quite easy to assemble if you follow the video. It’s very quiet, low impact exercise machine. I’m 5ft 7 and seems perfect for me.
Quiet (it's pretty much silent) Simple Small footprint (which I needed, but this inevitably leads to inherent stability issues) Sturdy Easy to assemble Due to the small fooprint it can rock when you are on it; mine is sat on carpet which exaggerates the issue. I now have it on a piece of ply wood and have secured it to the wood with cable ties. So I still have the small footprint, but now have greater stability
Really pleased with this product - the company used to deliver this were A) earlier than quoted, and B) sent frequent updates and polite staff!! The cross trainer itself was straightforward to assemble (all the bolts, etc were laid out in an easy-to-follow-with-the-guide way) and it’s provided with a uk plug adapter as the original on is a EU style. Lots of settings and functions, I’ve used this daily and the phone/tablet holder is a plus! The only thing I’ve noticed is an odd “clunk” sound occasionally (I’ve tightened bolts, etc) but other than that it’s a great machine and for the price it has loads of potential. I’ve already noticed a difference in my weight and tone. Glad I purchased it
I bought this just before lockdown last year. It has been a savior ever since for a person that trains 6 times a week for the last 10 years. It is solid,robust, yes it needs to be checked now and again but not the supplier's issue if you don't do it on a routine basis. As for putting it together, it's pretty easy, to comment on the qualified “engineer”. I would check his qualifications as I suspect this was their mistake and not the instructions, YTS scheme engineer maybe? Split washers and shims go in the obvious place and reverse threads on some parts Mr Engineer :) If you want to stay LEAN they but it.
I don’t usually write reviews but I love this cross trainer. Quick delivery, good couriers giving you a call prior to arrival, letting you know they are on the way & the cross trainer it’s self is fantastic. Very easy to assemble with all the screws, nuts & bolts all together and attached to a sheet of card in sections & the assembly video on the website is also very useful. Love the different programmes you can select to vary your work out. Very sturdy and well made product, highly recommend
Very good product I love it
So having been going to the gym for several years I wanted to purchase some basic gym equipment for the house. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a cross trainer and have to say I was definitely surprised with this product! Very simple to assemble, looks good and the quality is great! It’s a little unsteady so make sure it’s on a solid floor but overall very happy
Straightforward to assemble. Really sturdy, good options of exercise program. I really like the screen, really easy to set a program option, increase the weights and also shows you your hear rate (did not expect that for the price). It also has a clip to fix your device on the top of the screen so you can use your phone or iPad while exercising. I'm really happy with mine cross trainer and completely satisfied with my option. Excellent option for the price.
first it is not supply with a UK plug when you bought in the UK. secondly, the left pedal just collapse after 2weeks, and it was built by a qualified engineer. bad quality!!!!!
Absolutely amazed at this product for the price, so easy to put together, my partner managed it in 45 minutes. No noise when using what so ever! Honestly would buy this 100x over. Recommended highly. Delivery was very good and the drivers were super helpful.

Tracking your heart rate
Your EL120 cross-trainer is equipped with heart rate sensors. After a few seconds, your heart rate will appear on the screen of your console.The Hand-Pulse function (measures heart rate through the hands) should not be used by people wearing a pacemaker.
Tips for moving your cross-trainer
Your cross-trainer is equipped with transport wheels at the front for easy moving. To move the cross-trainer, stand facing the front of it. Block the bike with one foot and push down on the handlebar to swing it onto the wheels. Gently push it to where you want.
Tips for adjusting the stability on your cross-trainer
For optimal comfort, we recommend placing specially designed floor pads under your cross-trainer (DF 920 floor pads). These foam pads will help to: optimize the stability of the product when in use, reduce vibrations and noise, and protect your floor.Domyos cross-trainers have 2 stabilizers at the back of the base to ensure the bike remains perfectly stable during your workouts regardless of the type of flooring.
