Product Customer Reviews

Got these gloves for a great price and they are very nice and warm. They run a little on the large side---I measured my hand as per their size chart and they are still a size too big but no point in sending them back b/c of what I paid for them. But I suggest ordering down 1 size.
rapport qualité prix imbattables. Très bonne flexibilité.

Although not actually used yet these gloves seem well made. Fit well and they have a good grip section.
Warm and fit well. Great gloves.
perfect fit, nice and warm, well worth the money at a fiver
large fit but not as warm as anticipated.
Ok
The warmth of fleece gloves with thin, unobtrusive, grip pads on the palm, up the thumb and on the tip of the index finger. I drive a classic campervan and need warm gloves in the winter. These give enough grip on the steering wheel and all the warmth that I could ask for. I bought these to replace a 5 year old identical pair that are just starting to show signs of wear (and my son has stolen them!)
these gloves are good as a inner layer for a waterproof gloves, they keep your hands warm, only problem be it only a small one, is the elastic over the wrist is a bit tight if you have large hands and wrists, but just easing the elastic a bit helps, but they are still a good cheap pair of gloves.
I used them in hiking in Wales and Scotland. Kept my hands warm all the time, didn't feel any windy cold. Also they were very helfpul while going back down and was falling down on the rocky terrain - great shock absorption !
Very happy with the product so u got another pair
comfortable and warm
I buy these gloves every couple of years - they are excellent value for money and worn with the Quechua 100% silk liner gloves are certainly adequately warm enough for an Alpine Snowshoeing holiday. I would recommend them to anyone.
Would recommend
I have had your usual T.N.F. and other branded makes before but these Quechua are about as good as you are going to get. For the cost they are great - nice and long so they cover the wrist, warm with the protective pads. Even the little touch of long hooks so the could be hung up to dry. Used for dog walks over the moors and even mountain biking on really cold days.

Adapted clothing
The body produces heat during exercise, which is preserved thanks to the thermal insulation of the outfit. If the clothing is unfit for this purpose, the body will cool down and the blood flow to the hands will drop in order to keep the central core warm. The gloves and clothing should therefore be adapted for use to keep hands comfortable. If you're not sure, it's always best to select a pair of hiking gloves that are slightly too big rather than too small.
Recommended temperature = 33.8°f
Corresponds to the ambient temperature that 100% of testers considered acceptable. This is 33.8°F for Forclaz 100 gloves.
Limit temperature = 24.8°f
Corresponds to the ambient temperature that 90% of testers considered acceptable. This is 24.8°F for the Forclaz 100 gloves.
How is the use temperature measured?
All our gloves are laboratory tested using a thermal hand to determine the level of warmth as well as the minimum usage temperatures. The minimum use temperatures (recommended and limits) are based on a study carried out on a panel of 23 testers in walking situations exposed to temperatures ranging from 41°F to -4°F and wind of 6 mph. These temperatures are only valid in walking situations.
Dexterity of the glove
The dexterity of a glove is its ability to manipulate objects. Our gloves have been scored in the laboratory on a scale of 1 to 5. The nearer the glove's dexterity rating gets to 5, the closer the manipulation when wearing the glove gets to that of a bare hand. In particular, we tested the ability to easily put on and open your jacket.

Product testing
Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, as we remain convinced that only through rigorous testing under real world conditions, like the ones you will be using them in, can we continue to provide you with better products than ever.
