Product Customer Reviews

Used for a week we had fun until the internal mattress, i.e. the bottom, began to deflate, the hemming is done badly when folded to put it in the backpack the folds come unglued, I bought the glue by post for €39 once put in following the instructions, however, leaks continue to appear, I am demoralized and disappointed.
Bought the boat for family trips on quiet lakes and waters. Excellent stability, lots of space & easy to set up and take down. Actually the perfect boat…. But: we've had it for almost three years now, the boat has always been treated like a raw egg, air pressure was meticulously checked and always stored professionally. Accordingly, it still looks like new - but unfortunately that's no use if all the seams on the outer air hoses (which can be inflated with 3PSI) gradually start to leak. I've now patched four seams with the patches provided...but leaks keep appearing in different places. The seams are no longer glued together. It's a real shame - unfortunately I don't know that from Decathlon. Even our 10 year old son is disappointed, he loves paddling 😉. Therefore: no recommendation from me. A pity.
In exactly two years and 23 days, the joint of the central float came unglued, repair CZK 690, or buy a new one for approx. CZK 3,500. Maybe a bad piece, but for me I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO BUY FOR THAT MONEY!!!
I have been using it for over 1 year and its high pressure floor makes it easier to navigate and allows you to navigate in shallower water. a micro fiber towel is enough for quick drying and storage without mold
Used very little 5 or 6 times in 2 years. Unfortunately, we came across a bad series (seam detachment inside a tube). Unrepairable. Despite a delay of 1 1/2 months out of warranty, we were fully reimbursed in gift cards. Thanks to the brand and we are waiting for availability to repurchase the same
Kayak that I had in the summer of 2022 I wanted to replace my itiwit 3-seater double skin model. The x100 has better glide, drying is great. However, not reliable. The 1st bottom which took off in July 22 Exchanged then the second the bottom took off on a large part leaving water infiltrated, I specify that I arrived on vacation. Traded again. Decathlon highlights a glue problem. Then on the 3rd September 22 after several uses everything was fine. I then re-crimped it at the beginning of summer 2023, no worries. And... Another problem: the dropstich bottom came off when I arrived on vacation in the Landes for 15 days. Repair impossible. Of course I call Decathlon's valid warranty. After much research, the advisor informed me that no funds were available nationally. Not even a boat. And no restocking date. So no kayaking for my vacation. Finally, fortunately, an exhibition model was available but 85km away. So I had to make a return trip. I find it a shame that the reliability of this model leaves much to be desired. I specify that the inflation is done at the right pressure and that I store and clean it correctly. I have been kayaking for a long time and have owned the itiwit models since their creation. I changed to gliding and drying. But there the adventure with itiwit ends for me. I'm waiting for a reliable model. Tired of arriving on site after miles and having an unpleasant surprise.
.
Easy and quick to assemble. A little longer for storage. Some places seem to be coming off a little, notably the junction between the tubes and the bottom. According to the comments read in the reviews, this is normal. Very good stability on the water and very pleasant glide. Ideal for our family walks on the river. Hoping that the resistance will be there over time because it is still an investment.
Perfect upgrade we love it
Highly recommended. I have tested it at sea with about 230 kg of weight (between occupants and cargo). Inflated to the recommended pressure the floor is frankly rigid: despite the length of more than 4 meters and the behavior is excellent: it maneuvers and slides well. Lots of cargo space. Sense of solidity and security. It is bailed very easily with a kayak bilge pump (highly recommended to carry one) through the bilge spaces. Of course, don't get carried away: sail close to the coast, follow the manufacturer's recommendations and always check the weather before leaving: if wind or waves are expected, etc., postpone the excursion, of course, as with any kayak!
for the price Super 270 CHF the fins should be a bit bigger
It was a product I've been dreaming of for a long time, the product is not covered with fabric, so it seems to float better on water and it is much easier to dry when we take it out of water. Mr. Semih was very interested in supplying the product, I thank him again and again, I was very pleased with the product, it added color to our holiday.
What a piece of kit this Kayak is the bomb, highly recommend this absolutely superb 👍🏻 worth every penny
Kayak purchased in January 2021, used 3 times since. This summer, when we wanted to inflate it at our vacation spot, the bottom came loose at the seam. After installing a patch supplied with the kayak, tried again and the seam immediately failed again in another location. I asked for the bottom to be replaced this morning at the Geispolsheim store and was told that it would be at my expense, given that the 2-year warranty detail had expired. The bottom costs €180!! There is clearly a design flaw, given the number of customers who have had the same problem, and Decathlon refuses to support it. I paid more than €700 between the kayak and the equipment, for 3 uses in the end, and I am being asked to pay another €180. It makes no sense. At that price I would have been better off renting. I would like to point out that the kayak was deflated after each use and stored inside. This is the first time I have been disappointed by a Decathlon product.
Very good kayak for beginners because it is very stable. On the other hand, one downside... the inflatable seats... We are not convinced. One of them deflated. We would have preferred foam seats, at least no problem with them! Our daughter has a kayak from another brand with foam seats, very enveloping, and frankly we find them great compared to those delivered with this kayak.

Inflation tips and floor positioning
Connect the ITIWIT pump (sold separately) by twisting the pump adapter 1/4 turn and inflate the floor to 5 psi. Finish by screwing the cap back on.Put the floor inside the kayak and strap it at the ends. The floor valve must be aligned with the side tube valves located at the back of the kayak. The floor's position must allow free access to the drain plugs located in the middle of the kayak.
Side tube and seat inflation tips
Connect the ITIWIT pump (sold separately) by twisting the pump adapter 1/4 turn and inflate the side tubes to 3 psi. Finish by screwing the cap back on. Each side tube has a pressure relief valve. Its purpose is to evacuate excess air resulting from overinflation. When this happens, you may notice a hissing sound. This hissing is normal; it can happen during inflation or after prolonged exposure to sun. It will stop once the kayak reachesthe correct internal pressure
Seat comfort and positioning.
The seats are high, providing increased comfort for adults in the paddling position.Position the seats on the floor using the velcro areas located under the seat and on the floor.Stow any bags or equipment into the kayak's rear hatch or attach to the rear deck. The boat is ready to be launched.
Glide performance
Thanks to the rigidity of the dropstitch floor. ”Dropstitch” is a material. 2 layers of PVC are connected by thousands of polyester strands. When inflated to high pressure, these threads tighten and create a rigid volume, which prevents the kayak from loosing its shape.Which is what makes our inflatable kayak extremely rigid but easy to stow in a wheeled bag once deflated.
Care instructions
Remove the seats and slightly deflate the floor to make it easier to rinse out.Rinse the kayak, bottom, and seats with clean water after each use to avoid damage from sand, salt water, and sun.Open the drain plugs located in the middle of the kayak and at the rear. Tip the kayak to empty out the water.
Disassembly and folding
Make sure that the surface you intend to fold the kayak on is clean. Remove the fins.Deflate the side bladders. The valves are located at the back of the kayak. PLEASE NOTE: Do not unscrew the pressure relief valves at the front.Fold the floor.Fold the rest of the kayak in half lengthwise. Flatten the front fin base.Lay the rolled floor on the front end. Roll the kayak to the rear end.Strap the kayak.
Storage
Once dry and clean, the kayak should be stored in a dry and shady place, protected from significant temperature changes. The kayak can be stored folded, but if you have enough space, storing it flat and slightly inflated will extend its life.
