Question:
I am 5''5 guy and this bike seems to be the only one in budget for me so would it be okay if I buy it? or would it be wise to wait for the S sized RC120 to be back in stock.
Answer:
Unfortunatly this is a model we will not carry forward.
Question:
Hello- I am looking to purchase a road bike as a 5’4” woman. The model ( Triban 100 aluminum)- (5’1” - 5’5”. I am wondering if I would fit a small bike size at 5’4” .
Answer:
Yes a small should fit you correctly. You will of course need to adjust the seat height.
Question:
This bike is listed as womens but sizes listed by Decathlon do not match suggested sizes in product information section which are slightly smaller. Is this bike unisex sizes or womens? I am a 5'7.5 woman and would like to know which size to get. Thanks.
Answer:
You are really between sizes. There are several factors that go into proper sizing. Your inseam and torso legnth are key. If you are built 50/50 you might lean toward the small. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso, you might benifit from the medium. ( side note, I am 5'7" and ride a medium)

Product Customer Reviews

beautiful bike I love it was a gift I recommend
perfect for getting started
The bike is absolutely not quality, the tires are not at all up to what one would expect from a bike at this price and from a distributor such as Decathlon, tire which explodes (so change the tire AND of the inner tube) during the warranty period but nothing can be done, neither customer service nor the workshop want to take responsibility while the pressures used are those recommended by the workshop during the 6 month maintenance and mentioned on the tire. Tire which punctures again (inner tube included too!), 2 months later, even though the bike has not been ridden for the last month, and it has been reinflated every 2 weeks, again, on recommendation of the workshop. And still no support from Decathlon, everything is still at your expense!!
I bought this bike 6 months ago now. 1000km traveled with it! Outings up to 100km. It's a reassuring bike (single chainring, double brake lever, good position with good weight distribution which makes it predictable and stable even at high speeds up to 80km/h downhill), easy to handle and very comfortable while having a dynamic enough frame to have fun sprinting and doing good climbs. I can only recommend it as a bike to discover the road. The only two limiting points of the bike are: the tires which are a little slippery when the temperatures drop and the rain is present... To be upgraded for winter outings. And another improvement, the 40 teeth crankset could have a few more because with more regular training we reach the max quite quickly even on the flat. Today I invested in a better racing bike but I still have the pleasure of riding the EDR Easy for all my daily trips.
Great product for beginners
I bought this bike three months ago and use it daily. I am glad ! I also covered 200 km in 3 days and had no problems. It is reliable, comfortable, light and easy to use. I recommend 100%.
GOOD
The bike is neat, light, fast, comfortable. I am 158 cm and I chose size S, it fits perfectly. Additional brakes are a 10-hit solution! The derailleurs work perfectly, I will tighten the brakes a bit as the braking distance seems to be long. This is my first adventure with a road bike, but I am very pleased.
This is my first road bike and the dual brake controls are great when you're not too comfortable at first in the very leaning position! On the other hand, not very practical for putting a light because there is no more space on the frame
Very comfortable, the double brake is a safety feature for the beginning but to date (after 2 months of use) I can say that I would easily do without it... and I am an absolute beginner. Very intuitive shifting, stable bike for the use I make of it. I saw that the price is constantly increasing, from 250 to 350 (what I paid for it) to 450 now... The roof rack I put on is the 900 one code 2540261 and it is perfect. The seat is really comfortable for us women. More than satisfied with the purchase, great travel companion!
I bought this bike when it cost 350 and it was a great deal. The 1x8 drivetrain works very well and is suitable for all types of terrain except very steep mountains. The only question is: why install a 25.4mm handlebar if all new Decathlon bikes have 31.8mm?
It's also good for men
First roadbike and is a very easy bike to use and get used to. Not a lot of effort needed to get over long distances. Bike seat is quite hard so would recommend a cover, especially if cycling for a long time. Brakes are not as sharp as previous bikes but could possibly make sense to avoid flipping if sharp braking while cycling at high speeds. Otherwise very nice bike both physically and functionally
For an entry-level women's bike, I find it really great. It is light, super practical and easy to use with its two pairs of brakes. There are also lights that are provided. Honestly, super happy with my purchase.
It is a perfect bike! I've been with her for almost two years and I've never had a problem. Yes, it falls short in changes on slopes, but you already know what you are buying.
