Whilst these are clearly great quality and represent excellent value for money, the sizing is severely compromised by the back panel / braces simply not being long enough and not having enough adjustment. Whilst a size L fits everywhere else, bending forward or squatting down with the braces on maximum size is super tight in crotch area. I've tried the XL too and it's the same problem. I'm 6' (184cm), 88kg - nothing strange about my measurements haha Shame as they otherwise appear to be excellent.
I have inspected and tried these on, but not used in sailing. They seem very well made. I particularly like the drysuit zip. Sadly one vital feature is missing: No belt / strap available to attach a multi-tool. This is extremely important to me in practicality, so to my great regret it is a 'show stopper'. The only possible work-around would be to store the tool in a pocket, but I know that velcro pockets are not quick to access, so it's not really a suitable alternative.
The build quality of the majority of this product is great but the seam sealing tape is terrible. Only used it twice in 2 years (not very cold here) and the tape just fell off. I have pictures but don’t seem to be able to post them here
Wore these Salopette since previous model, keep you dry and warm - may be too warm sometimes in Hong Kong. The new model is better with two-way zipper, which makes life much easier when nature called. I am not saying it's better than those brands which are double or even triple the price, but for sure you get more than you paid for.
Very comfortable, hardly know I’d them on most of the time. Have used for yachting and rowing. Very robust and suitable for a wide range of activities.
Used this for our training for rowing across the Atlantic. And will also have it with us on the Atlantic, Great quality, dry, and comfortable. Can not fault them. highly recommend, it is best offshore gear I own.
These are great, the water just beads off and the material is tough
I am using these over trousers in Antarctica and they are fantastic. I particularly like the knee and seat padding. Making working on your knees very comfortable . the seat padding keeps your bum warm when sitting on a cold deck. The waterproofness is the best i have ever had from any of the many offshore sailing gear i have worn
Ich war jetzt 2 Wochen auf der Ostsee segeln und wollte erst danach meine Meinung zu der Hose äußern. Die Hose ist TOP. Sie hat alles mitgemacht. Schönwetter segeln bis zum schweren Wetter mit 12h Dauerregen. War absolut dicht! An einer Stelle ist die Verstärkung an einem Knie lose, aber ABSOLUT DICHT geblieben. Passt perfekt, in den Decathlon Größen. Einfach eine Nummer größer nehmen. Kurzes Fazit: die Hose kann mit den meisten „Luxus“ Marken mithalten. Ist ihr Geld wert.
Seit rund 3 Jahren begleiten und Jacke und Hose aus dem TRIBOARD Offshorprogramm 900 auf unseren Segeltörns Issjlmeer, Südholland, Nordsee und Cote Azur. Die Sachen halten bisher bei jedem Schlechtwettereinsatz durchgehend trocken, sind bequem und robust. Ich hab sie vorab in Lübeck mit den üblichen Markenprodukten des Shop-Nachbars und TOP-Versenders verglichen. Aufgrund Schnitt, Haptik und Verarbeitung und Produkt-/Materialmerkmale (Preis/Leistung) habe ich mich für TRIBORD OS 900 entschieden und bisher keine Minute bereut. Ich hoffe, das das so bleibt.
Die Hose hat eine menge Potential, da die Funktionalität an sich super ist. Leider sind die Nähe viel zu schwach. Bei meiner ersten Hose sind die Nähe an der Hosentasche, im Schritt und an einem der Hosenträger bereits nach ca. 10 Einsätzen aufgegangen. Die zweite Hose kam bereits mit einer defekten Naht am Hosenbein bei mir zu Hause an. Hätte ich dieses Problem nicht festgestellt würde ich die Hose mit 5 Sternen bewerten, so kann ich leider nur 2 geben.

Selbstverständlich sollten die Nähte deutlich länger halten! Ich werde dein Feedback umgehend an die zuständigen Produktmanager weiterleiten. Ich vermute hier stimmt etwas mit der Charge nicht. Wir werden der Sache auf den Grund gehen!

Die Passform ist eher mäßig, der wasserdichte Reißverschluss dafür super Nach 3-4 Jahren ist die Verklebung der Nähte innen defekt und die Beschichtung teilweise ab. Kurzum die Hose ist nicht mehr dicht und als Ölzeug nicht mehr brauchbar.

Natürlich ist es oft kaum machbar eine Hose so lange zu testen bevor sie in den Verkauf geht, daher sind wir auf Feedback wie deines angewiesen. Es wäre wirklich interessant zu erfahren wie oft du die Hose benutzt hast und wie du sie gepflegt hast. Ich wäre dir sehr dankbar, wenn du mir beschreiben könntest inwiefern die Naht defekt ist und einfach hierauf an meine E-Mail Adresse antwortest!

Die Hose sieht erstmal super aus! ich hatte sie mir in 2XL bestellt und empfand sie erstmal zu groß, also habe zum vergleich noch die in XL bestellt. XL ist etwas zu klein gewesen, also bewegen konnte ich mich nicht gut darin. Deshalb behalte ich die Hose in 2XL. Beim tragen fühlt die Hose sich sehr gut an, das einzige was mich stört ist, dass die Polster an den Knien nicht gut geformt sind. Das ist weder störend noch sonst irgendwas, nur leider steht die Hose somit sehr weit ab an dem Knien und da mir die Hose ja dazu noch ein klein wenig zu groß ist, sehe ich breiter aus, als ich dann doch bin. Das ganze kann auch einfach an der Größe liegen. Eventuell sitzen die Kniepolster bei kleineren Größen besser. Sonst kann ich an dieser Hose nichts bemängeln zumindest beim anprobieren. Ausprobieren kann ich sie erst in ein paar Wochen, wenn es dann überhaupt schlechtes Wetter gibt.
Hose ist sehr ungünstig geschnitten, ist im Oberkörperbereich viel zu eng - bin 1,83 und wiege 90 kg - Größe XL ist ab Taille nach oben gesehen kleiner als zB eine L von Marinepool. Ab Taille abwärts zu groß, Schnitt extrem ungünstig! Versand dauert viel zu lange, habe 1,5 Wochen gewartet - erst 3 Tage nach Lieferavisierung geliefert!

Tatsächlich fällt die Segelbekleidung von Tribord kleiner aus, als weitere Segelmarken, weshalb wir empfehlen, ca. 1 Nummer größer zu wählen.
Wir werden dein Feedback bezüglich der Größe natürlich auch an den zuständigen Produktmanager von Tribord weiterleiten. Die Marke arbeitet aktuell an deinem Relaunch der Größen, sodass sie hoffentlich bald realistischer einzuschätzen sind.
Ich möchte mich hiermit auch bei dir für die Lieferverspätung entschudligen. Da dieser Artikel zum Zeitpunkt deiner Bestellung nicht bei uns im Regionallager war, sondern nur im Kontinentallager in Frankreich verfügbar war, dauerte der Versand etwas länger. Aber die 3 Tage Lieferverzögerung, die zusätzlich dazu kamen, sollten natürlich nicht sein.

Close all zippers and flaps and remove any parts of the garment that cannot be washed. Also remember to loosen the straps and elastic parts and empty the pockets. Then turn the garment inside out to wash it.
How to reactivate the jacket's water-repellency step 2: washing
You can wash your jacket on a synthetic cycle at 86°F or 104°F with your usual detergent. Do not use fabric softener, which could damage the existing performance of the garment, or bleach. Also take care not to bend your jacket too much when you place it in the washing machine and do not overload your machine.Very important: select a thorough rinse or double rinse to completely remove all detergent residue.
How to reactivate the jacket's water-repellency step 3: drying
Drying is a crucial phase in reactivating the water-repellent treatment.We recommend that you lay your jacket flat on a clothes rack and leave it out to dry in the open. Caution: never dry your jacket directly on a radiator.Then place it in the tumble dryer on a short synthetics cycle, i.e. 10 to 15 minutes, before turning it back the right way around.
How to reactive the jacket's water-repellency finishing step
If, despite this procedure of washing and thorough rinsing followed by gentle drying in a tumble dryer, the drops of water no longer run off the surface of your jacket, we recommend that you ”re-waterproof” it using a waterproofing spray sold in our stores.
