I made an unfortunate decision to purchase this back pack (30L version) whilst on a stopover in Singapore as going to NZ walking holiday. It is truly the most uncomfortable backpack I have had and regret my decision not to stick with buying a Deuter backpack which had lasted me many years and was so comfortable. Just make sure if you do choose these packs to try it around the home first with weight in and do not wait until you are on a hike.
Comfortable backpack suitable for multi-day excursions, especially in spring.

Roomy, rain-proof, spacious!
Light, roomy, reasonably comfortable with a small load. Excellent ventilation and very good access to the contents.
Very disappointed with this purchase. A little over 6 months of use and one of the straps is starting to crack. My bag is never particularly loaded, used only for day activities. My previous bag was also a Decathlon that I kept for at least 6-7 years before some of the seams or closures started to give up the ghost. It wasn't the same quality. This is clearly junk.

practical, versatile, not only for hiking, but also for a quick weekend trek...or for an alpine-style approach...the more you load it, the more stable it feels on your pelvis...the features on the outside are such that you can put on several accessories, even bulky ones (from a helmet to a harness, to snowshoes, from crampons to ice axes, but also a tent and sleeping bag...with the necessaire for a two-day trek, there's still room for the 2-liter Walterbag...all in all, light...
Roomy. Backpack for my husband but he says it's comfortable.
For the price, this is a very good backpack.

The zipper is durable, the hip belt works, the pocket on the hip belt is unfortunately too small for a phone, the backpack gets wet easily.

Which water pouch?
There is a compartment in the bag to place a water bladder (there is also a hole to let the tube out).The water bladder is not included in this rucksack, but you can buy a 1, 2 or 3 litre one in store.
How to adjust your backpack?
We recommend hand-washing your rucksack. Use soapy, lukewarm water, possibly with a brush, focusing on the areas in contact with the body (shoulder straps, back, waist belt), where you have perspired. This is the best way for the fabric properties to be maintained, in particular the waterproofness. Then rinse well with lukewarm water, dry in a dry place away from direct sunlight (no radiator). Store in a dry place.
