Used for the first time on a three-day journey, the loaded harness fulfilled its mission perfectly. After getting the hang of installing it and then tying it up with the package, it gets forgotten behind the saddle. The small net on it allows you to attach a fluorescent vest to stand out
Great
I left 4 play with it. It really held up well, it is very modular and this is important because depending on the weather the storage can change slightly. (possibility of putting a vest in the nets above...) In short, I recommend!
My son used this on a recent trip from Ottawa to Nova Scotia. Very solid set up, really well thought out. Once on the bike and cranked tight it is very stable. Even when we were sprinting away from chasing dogs the bag held firm. I thought maybe I could win a couple of town sign sprints as the bag would slow him down. Not to be, the bag is very secure and doesn't effect your riding position. Excellent product.
This saddle bag was a pleasure to use during my first bikepacking trip. You can easily lash the saddle bag so that it no longer swings when cycling. It's just a pity that after 3 days of use there are already traces of wear where the straps that you attach under the saddle rails rub against the harness.
I wanted to use the racing bike to take the sunny cycle route up to Garda without mounting a luggage rack. I succeeded with satisfaction
Together with the matching bag, it was exactly what I was looking for and significantly more stable than the others I had tried so far.
Top quality/price ratio, although other identical products at double the price. used for 12 days of bikepacking over 1200km, everything is perfect, you can easily fit a 15L drybag, maybe less for short seat posts. loosening morning and evening, everything fits perfectly provided you tighten everything firmly as indicated. big plus for the "rings" and elastics on the top to hang additional accessories.
Not moving. Very good fixation thanks to the multiple attachments on the saddle. So practical to have a "box" on your bike. Attention it is necessary to add the waterproof bag riverside
Meets expectations well. Very practical and well designed. The straps should however be tightened from time to time. The pendulum movement is contained without being totally absent but without being annoying.
Very convenient to install and very easy to use. The volume transported in this way is not significant, but this product is particularly useful for anyone wishing to travel for several days.
Used on my gravel during a one-week hike/500 km on cycle routes and greenways. To have been able to compare with a reputable brand, the system for holding the harness on the seat tube is very effective (double Velcro strap on rubber block) and if everything is tightened correctly, there is no concern for lateral stability, nor vertical. The different hanging possibilities for tightening the bag according to its volume are very well thought out. The fact of removing only the bag at the stage is a real plus.
Unfortunately when the dry bag is loaded, the harness lacks rigidity and bends. This morning during a taf bike trip, the dry bag came to touch the wheel during an impact. Carried away by the tire, he doubled over. The braking effect made me fall. The dry bag is unfortunately perforated due to friction. In addition, one of the non-replaceable straps is also dented. The dry bag is therefore no longer waterproof. I made a mistake by not tightening the straps enough. However, I identify two vulnerabilities: - the bottom plastic plate is not rigid enough. - the dry bag is not sufficiently held laterally at the rear. I doubt I can use the harness for touring bike use. In my opinion, the lack of rigidity is felt even more with heavy loading. It's a shame because the removable nature of the bag is very practical.
This is a great saddle bag, very stable and easy to use. It is sturdy as well. It makes a good combination with the dry bag, I suggest to buy them together. I used on a road bike with small frame, it worked like a charm. It should fit any other bike. It may be a bit heavier than similar products, but I would go with this anyways because of its features. When you have a saddle bag that is not so stable and swings, it will impact the performance worse than the weight I think. The price is unbeatable as well.
Was an attempt for my first bikepacking adventure. Absolutely convinced. Even on root trails, I never had to re-tighten and the A.rocket held up tight as a rock.
