Elops 500, 20 L Waterproof Pannier Rack Bike Bag

Great design and waterproof makes riding bike enjoyable. A fellow bike rider has bought the same product based on my recommendation.

I put this pannier on my rack, after one year of commuting. I'm not as sweaty when I get home & I get home faster. Should have gotten one much, much sooner

I don't know what you people are talking about. Did you stab a few holes in them with a knife and then force a garden hose in there or something? I took 2 of these panniers on a 12 day motorcycle tour of northern Vietnam in some of the most torrential rain I have ever been in and everything inside the panniers were bone dry. Sure, they needed the mud and stuff cleaned off at the end of each day (which I did in the shower BEFORE taking anything out of them) and they were brilliant. They were flexible enough to be strapped on to the side of the bike in any configuration and were ALWAYS completely dry at the end of the day. Check out the yellow ones if these are being discontinued. You people complaining about their lack of waterproofness mustvmu been riding round with them wide open as well. Fantastic buy!

I ordered the bag 2 weeks ago and on tuesday I was doing a shopping trip with them for the first time. They were super easy to put on, with a screwdriver I was able to adjust it so that it fits my bike perfectly. Even with maximum speed there is no risk for the bags to fall off the bike. I wish I could have bought the yellow one but sadly they were sold out. But as always i'm super Happy with the service and the product. Well done Decathlon

Brilliant bags in the sense of space, waterproofing, ease of attaching to panniers, and price. Would highly recommend if you aren’t using them long term. Only issue I’ve had is the velcro wore away completely after only about 3 weeks of use, so the straps would get caught in my spokes and in the end I just had to cut them off. Great product in the short term, but not sure if they’re any good for long term use.

Just been to Holland for 4 days and used one of these panniers. Easy to use and decent quality for the money. Did not test how waterproof though as weather stayed dry. Used zip lock bags for clothes just in case. Now looking to buy another for longer trips.

I have been using the bag for shopping trips, and it's decently well made with good material. Quoted capacity is smaller than many panniers, and I can see this when filling it up - and folding the top over to close uses up vital space. However it can be used loosely clipped (provided it's not raining!) to get more groceries in, or a french bread sticking out the top! The clipping shut takes a little getting used to with the fold/clip which isn't initially intuitive. I haven't taken the bag out in heavy rain, but it is shower proof. Clips nice and firm to the cycle rack, and the tightness of grip can be adjusted to suit. One negative is that there is no shoulder strap. It would have been easy to have a strap supplied that clips into the clips already on the bag for closing it. For the price, very satisfied with this bag - but do bear in mind the size limitations and lack of off-bike carrying strap.

Clips on to (and off) racks with an adjustable screw fitting for 6-16mm horizontal bar size - so fits virtually any rack. The bit of string operates a hook that turns 90⁰ in the vertical plane to operate a clip that hooks under the same horizontal bar to stop the bag bouncing upwards and becoming detached. I cut a piece of closed cell foam (not water absorbent) to protect the base of the bag from damage. I added 2 rivets as another reviewer suggested to strengthen the lower velcro strap attachment to the bag. I stitched an extension to the lower velcro strap so it fixes around two of my vertical stays, not just one, to get a more secure fitting. Now a 5 star bag! Rolling the top of the bag over 3x and clipping it will make it watertight.

I purchased this bag to fit to my ELOPS 900 ULTRA-LIGHT PANNIER RACK References : 2540261 that I bought at the same time. What can I say, I carry a change of clothing, my lunch, inner tube / tire levers etc as well as wallet/phone/keys no problem at all. It fits my new rack perfectly. The only suggestion I would make is it would be handy to have an inner separate pocket that wallet phone & keys could be put into to save me having to rummage around in the bottom of the bag looking for my house keys when I get home.

Good value bags, bought for a 4 day 500km trip, mostly off road. They performed well in very wet weather, keeping the contents perfectly dry. Nice and easy to wipe clean. The locking system makes these very secure on the rack. I can only assume one review i read for these where the customer broke a laptop was a case of the user error
