27.5x1.9-2.5 Bike Inner Tube

These are a touch thinner than my usual inner tubes, but for the price, you can't complain. They do the job and you can't quibble with the price.

Value.

Got a flat and needed a new inner tube. Such a great price I bought a couple just to be on the safe side.!

Rubbish

Cheap but very much not cheerful. Replacing a punctured tube with this, only to find out it's already leaking air. Found the hole and repaired it with a patch and still leaks. In the end I patched up the original tube and gave up on this one. Usually like decathlon stuff but will not buy inner tubes from there again.

I'm sorry to read that the innertube was punctured straight out of the box. This is highly unusual and I am unable to explain why it's the case in this instance.

Good budget tube

Good budget tube but my local store only has 48 mm valve stems, do they have anything shorter?

Good Price

Always carried, seldom used but worth having with you. Can't go wrong at the price

Tube - Presta

What can I say about this. Got them on my backpack. Still there, so they don't run away by them self! Not to heavy to carry around. Hope I wont need to use them at all. Not too expensive, so it's fine if I don't use them.

Tube quality is good but valve design is bad

Dear Team, I'm using RR560 and Stock Tube was Kenda for my 27.5"x2.10" wheel. I took additional Presta valve tube for backup and once I used this spare tube, I found Presta Valve is not having any ring to tight it with rim so after installation, it was in loose - movable condition. the only disadvantage of this without tightening ring on valve, when I used mini hand pump, my two inner tubes, till date got damaged as due to multiple stroke while pumping, tube got damaged, where valve was attached. In your product picture, you are displaying valve with that ring but in the packet, it's plain.

leaking inner tube can't change

Bought on 16 July morning went home to install. All is good. Few hours later no more air. Took out to check tube all ok. No tear no nothing. On 18 July went to decathlon city square change. Bike “expert” from the bike station claim tube not from decathlon, although tube clearly printed decathlon. Then he told me their tube don’t come with the locking screw nut. Then told me valve cover not theirs. Then say the tube looks old and used. Come on la. If don’t want to change just say so. Shitty after service. Never even ride on the tyre before.

Hello Mr James,

My apologies for the experience in the store. Do allow me to check if you have the proof of purchase and are you a Decathlon Member with us.

I would take this time to investigate this experience, do email us this details and we would be able to move forward together closely on what would be our next steps.

Our email address would be support-singapore@decathlon.com.

Thank you.

How to choose your inner tube

Check the information indicated on the sidewall of the tire (diameter and width). For example, 27.5 x 2.10 means that the tire is 27.5 inches in diameter and 2.10 inches wide. On the tire sidewall, you will also find the dimensions in mm in ETRTO international units. For example, 50-584 means a tire that is 50 mm wide and has an inner diameter of 584 mm (approx. 27.5 x 2.00).

Removing an inner tube

Remove the old inner tube using B'Twin tire levers

Checks to carry out before installing an inner tube

Check the condition of your tire and replace it if necessary. Make sure no objects are lodged in the tire. Check the condition of your tire rim strip. A rim strip that is even slightly bent can cause punctures. Check that your rim does not have any other issues that could damage your inner tube.

Mounting the inner tube

Watch our video before you start. Pre-inflate the inner tube slightly to avoid pinching. Insert the valve, making sure you are using the correct valve for your rim. Put the inner tube entirely inside the tire so that it fits inside the rim. Take care not to pinch the inner tube when fitting.

Mounting the tire

Start mounting the tire at the valve. Finish mounting the tire at the valve to avoid pinching the inner tube. Never mount your tire with a screwdriver or a tire lever, as you risk pinching and puncturing the inner tube.

Inflating the tire

Inflate your tire carefully, to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer (visible on the tire sidewall in PSI or bars, 1 bar = 14.51 PSI). Regularly check that your tire is in the correct position as you inflate it.

Tip from the pros

To avoid punctures from pinching and for best tire performance, we recommend that you check your tires and inflate them to the suggested pressure before every ride.
