un très bon vélo à un prix intéressant

J'ai eu un ST 540 qui a été volé. J'attendais ce EXPL 540 depuis plusieurs mois et ne suis pas déçu. Les roues 29 pouces avalent le terrain et donnent vraiment l'impression de survoler les obstacles, avec en plus le pédalier petit et haut qui n'accroche pas le relief. La position est légèrement plus engagée que sur le ST. La maniabilité reste bonne quoique sans doute un peu en retrait. J'avais avant une taille M, que j'ai reprise bien qu'avec 1,75m j'aurais pu partir sur le L. En ayant marre d'attendre j'ai pris le M qui était dispo et je pense avoir fait un choix judicieux pour n epas trop changer par rapport au ST. La transmission fonctionne bien, j'aurais bien voulu un 11 pignon de 51 dents mais pour la sortie d'essai ça ne m'a pas dérangé. Vis des valves mal serrées et bruit de frottement semblant venir des disques de frein viennent légèrement ternir l'expérience. freins et fourche OK, selle confortable, pneus bons pour le sec et humide mais sans doute pas pour les terrains hivernaux détrempés ,poignées un peu dures mais permettant d'avoir le velo "en main" et facilement démontables. Cintre assez large, attention aux chemins étroits ! Un achat que je ne regrette pas, vélo plus cher que le ST 540 et que les autres de la gamme EXPL mais avec des vrais gains qualitatifs. mon 1er "bon" VTT, j'avais un triple plateau en mode 1er prix .. c'est une bonne claque.. mono et roue en 29", bien équipé à prix abordable.. tout est fluide, passage de vitesse, conduite.. un bon rendement même si je pense passer à 32 dents devant.. hyper content de cet achat.. je recommande. pris en xl pour mon 1m94
