HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR PUNCHING BAG GLOVES
There are several types of punching bag glove. You should choose based on the discipline you practice. - Fingerless gloves for doing floor work. They can be worn alone throughout your training session. - Padded, curved gloves designed for punching a bag.
WHICH GLOVES ARE BEST FOR YOUR LEVEL?
- A novice boxer (training once per week) should choose a comfortable glove with good ventilation. - Advanced boxers (using them 2 to 3 times per week) should choose gloves with good resistance to wear and high-density foam. - A competitive boxer should choose a leather glove because of its excellent durability and comfort. For certain activities (grappling/cardio boxing), you will need more versatile gloves.
WHICH SIZE SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?
Punching bag gloves come in sizes S, M, L, XL. To help you choose, here is the size grid for standard gloves and your weight: - Size S (glove size 6): <143 lbs - Size M (glove size 7): 143 to 166 lbs - Size L (glove size 8): 166 to 188 lbs - Size XL (glove size 9): > 188 lbs Adjust the gloves to fit your hand and fix them in place with the velcro. They should be neither too tight nor too loose. They shouldn't slip off.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Using inner gloves also helps to protect the inside of your gloves from the effects of perspiration. They are practical and easy to slip on and off. They prolong the life of your boxing gloves.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
After training, you can put a glove dryer inside the gloves. This keeps them open to air out and lets perspiration evaporate. Glove dryers are sold in pairs. Clean with a damp cloth. Dry at room temperature. Do not dry near a heat source such as a radiator, as this may seriously damage the materials. Avoid contact with chemical substances.
