Nice stick
Very good product, perhaps lacking a little compactness but for the price, I am very satisfied with it.
As an ambitious hiker who also hikes in alpine terrain, I chose these poles because I was impressed by the quick adjustment option with the push-pin system. This means that when using two poles at the same time, you can quickly set the exact same length. The 5 cm intervals from 110 - 130 cm also ensure that both smaller and larger users can manage with this pole in any terrain. The pack size is also pleasantly small and light. The loop on the handle is not particularly high quality, but in my opinion it is fine. The holes, which whistle slightly in the wind, could also bother some users. But I find this acceptable. One of my poles rattled because of the holes and the adjustment system. However, exchanging it in the store went smoothly. Overall, I can recommend this pole.
Used for hiking in the 5 lands, practical and reliable
The summer anti-sag board was used for the first time on April 20, and it separated from the trekking pole and ran away from home. I can't buy a replacement on the website. Please replace it as soon as possible. Thank you.

How it was designed...
This model is entirely designed and approved by our team, at the foot of Mont Blanc.This model uses the chassis of the A100, which we have Inchreinforced Inch to get it ready to take on the mountains!It retains the push-pin adjustment system and over-sized tubes. However, it can be set higher (130 cm), has an adjustable wrist strap, essential for support, an elongated foam handle for multi-position grip and a tungsten carbide tip to withstand rock.
How to adjust your poles to the correct length?
Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle.To do this: - pull the lower part until the push-pin locks (lower metal button) - slide the middle tube until the upper button reaches the desired hole- use the lines printed on the tubes to align the push-pin with the holesNever go over the STOP line to avoid breaking the pole.
Directions for use
This hiking pole is designed to help you balance, propel yourself and distribute effort between arms and legs.To be on the safe side, check before you set off and at regular intervals that your baton is locked in place by simulating heavy bumps. Do not put on your backpack in case of a storm.Some users are sensitive to the whistling noise that can occur when the wind sweeps through the adjustment holes.
Care tips
Proper maintenance of your baton will ensure that it functions optimally and that it lasts longer.After use, if water has penetrated the stick, remove the strands and allow to dry. If necessary, clean the dust or mud with water or a dry brush. Once dry, you can reassemble the strands.We recommend that you do not attempt to oil or grease the mechanisms.
Why is the pole sold individually?
At Decathlon, we have decided to sell our hiking/trekking poles individually. First because of how they are used. Indeed, some people only want to use one pole. Also, if one of your poles breaks, this means you only have to buy one and not a complete pair.

Product testing
To set our thresholds, we have measured the stresses on the poles in the most demanding situations. During its development, each model undergoes laboratory tests that reproduce these stresses (compression, three-point bending, etc.) until it breaks. We also tests parts separately (tightening power, tearing, etc). Finally, these tests are regularly repeated in production to ensure a constant level of quality.
Storage instructions
Store the baton in a dry place without tightening the adjusting systems, so that they are not strained and retain their clamping power.
