Question:

Are there doors on both sides? Do you have to stake to use tent? If on fire assignment staged inside a building, can i use this tent?

Answer:

This tent only has 1 door. You don't have to stake the tent to use it but you will not be able to use the flysheet.

Question:

Is this tent aluminum poles ,, how about the rain fly ,,,and is this tent ,, light weight ive seen easy to set up but my concern is the materials should be inticate or spesified for the items

Answer:

This tent weighs about 9.6 lbs. All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200L/hour for three hours), as well as in the field (2,000mm PU-coated polyester flysheet, 4.3 oz/m² polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you don't come into contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

super practical

This tent helps me to rest quietly during motorcycle rides. It doesn't take up space, easy to assemble and disassemble, it's ideal.

Easy to set up. I like it. Except for the floor, I don't think it's canvas. I thought it would be like the 4,200 model, but it's still considered good.

Perfect, compact, light, easy...

Perfect, compact, light, easy to use, easy to transport, nothing to do with tents that you have to twist into eight to close them. I recommend without reservation.

Nice compact tent that you can quickly set up and store thanks to the pop-up umbrella function. Before storing, watch the instruction video carefully, then it is very easy.

Durable and practical, but heavy

Great for camping when you're traveling by car, but heavy to carry if you're backpacking for a few days of hiking and camping. The materials are excellent and it is easy to install.

Super easy and practical! I simply loved!

Super easy to assemble and disassemble. To keep in the bag, it is a little bigger than it came from the factory but it fits in the bag quietly without tightness. I will still train more to close it tighter close to what came from the factory. Super practical to open, 2 pulls and poof opened! Just attach the specks and you're done. Faster than that doesn't exist. I haven't tested it in the rain yet but it seems to be good, it has a rain cover on top, separated from the tent. Mosquito netting on both sides provide greater ventilation. Inside has a hook for a lamp, clothesline, two pockets for documents. The side awning of the external area helps a lot to leave a sneaker, a box or a stove in storage. I loved my tent! With no difficulty to assemble unlike the others full of rods and stakes to assemble.

Assembly is never back to original packaging size. I tried several times to bring it back to original packing size while it wasn’t working. Once you unpack it’s hard to bring back to original pack size. Did anyone managed to???

apart from the weight of the tent, and especially the Bach on the ground and a bit fragile on the stones, it's not a very good, very practical product.

Additional Product Information

Composition

Double roof: 100.0% Polyester ; Inside room: 100.0% Polyester ; Structure: 50.0% Polyoxymethylene, 50.0% Glass Fiber ; Floor mat: 100.0% Polyethylene ; Carry bag: 100.0% Polyester

Setting up and breaking down the tent

Enjoy the exclusive “EASY” technology to pitch your tent in two seconds. The self-standing structure lets you move the tent once it has been assembled to find the best location. Instant foldaway: once the tent is released, simply gather it all into the bag. First-time questions? Check out the instructions or the online video.

Mattress compatibility

We recommend a self-inflating or backpacking mattress measuring 25.6” maximum width. We do not recommend using inflating mattresses over 2.4” thick in this tent due to the reduction in both living space and condensation resistance.

Ventilation

Side door enabling maximum ventilation when open. Bedroom in breathable mesh. The space between the flysheet and around the base of the tent enables air to circulate between the bedroom and the flysheet and reduces natural condensation.

Waterproofing

All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200L/hour for three hours), as well as in the field (2,000mm PU-coated polyester flysheet, 4.3 oz/m² polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you don't come into contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all the guy ropes correctly positioned around the tent should remain habitable in wind speeds of up to 30mph measured near ground level (Force 6).

Warranty / after-sales service

As designers and users who love our playing field, we care about the durability of our products. That’s why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available from your Decathlon in-store workshop or on our website. If you have a problem, have your tent looked at in your nearest Decathlon shop.

The environmental approach

We chose to use the “dope-dyeing” process inside the bedroom and on part of the flysheet. This mass pigmentation process dyes the thread during manufacture. This reduces the amount of water used and polluted compared to a standard dyeing process.

Product testing

It’s in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc, that our design team conceives, designs, and creates Quechua products. We test them in the field with other campers to make sure they are comfortable and durable. Brittany, Corsica... we go to as many places as possible, in all weather conditions. That means great conditions for discussion, which is precious to gain your feedback and plan our new products!

Storage instructions

After use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odors and mold from forming.

Guarantee

Five years.
