Please note! This backpack is not watertight on the inside, i.e. the base of the backpack does not retain water. Condensation can sometimes form on the inside of the bag resulting in drops of water getting through the seams. Don't worry, this is a rare occurrence and it prevents your food from getting wet.

Product Testing

The EN 12546-2 European standard shows the insulation rating of the cool box without an ice box. In order to pass this standard, tests are conducted by an independent laboratory. With an ambient temperature of 90°F, water at 41°F is placed inside the ice compartment. Then, the time it takes for the water to warm up to a temperature of 59°F is measured. For this cool box, the time taken is 6 hours.
