Hello Andre,

We're very sorry your bike was delivered broken. When you came in store we did an exchange of the bike because it was indeed broken in the middle possibly during the transport.

I hope you like your new bike.

Don't hesitate if you need more informations from our products.

See you !

Bent Derailleur

Great little bike, but upon using it for the first time I found the gears weren't shifting properly. I took it to a expert to look at and they told me to take it back to Decathlon as it had been sent to me with a bent Derailleur! I have attempted to take it to a Decathlon workshop to have some look at it, but I've been told I can only go with an appointment. Workshop appointments seem to be gold dust as there are hardly any available and then I unfortunately missed the one I managed to get, weeks in advance, as I had covid. Upon calling the store at a later date to explain my situation I was told to just book an appointment online, which I still haven't been able to do as my last request was never accepted. Really unimpressed with the whole experience and it has out me off buying from Decathlon in the future.

Fun on two wheels

This Bike has been well designed and is a good example of construction engineering. It's surprisingly quite strong for it's relatively light weight. Folds up and fits in the boot perfect for those days trips to distant parks and fields.

Cannot source replacement parts

This is a good bike especially ially at the price its sold at. However I've recently broken a wheel and it's incredibly difficult to source a replacement as the axel is not a standard size. I've contacted decathlon and they're trying to track down the only 1 in the whole country. Needing the bike to commute I've had to spend £100 on taxis into work

First entry folding bike, perfect for the price

Folding mechanism is easy to daily commute purchase. After 7 months of usage, I could easily fold or unfold within 10-15 seconds. After owning this bike, I learnt a lot of repair and maintenance skills especially after the first puncture. Please do get a bike puncture repair kit ready during your ride, it will save your life. Every single part of this bike is not difficult to be adjusted. One lacking adjustment that I haven't figured out is the turning resistance of the front wheel (might be not available in this version?). After folding the bike, the rolling mechanism is fair but it definitely takes time to master the technique as back-rolling is a little bit tricky and one of the pedals would hit the crank. The handle bar might also fly out occasionally. Therefore, it is essential to take some practice to roll the bike in your daily commute. Reasonable price and after months of use, I have already recovered to cost of the bike.

Suitable for Kids

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter as an upgrade from her 1st bike. Thanks to the great amount of seat adjustment this fits her from 9 to 18+ she loves it. It also fits in the back of the car so I can take her somewhere safe to ride it. Or when I take the car in for a service I can ride home on it.

Very good

I bought this bike for my mum who is 71 years old about four weeks ago this bike has been constructed and put together very well the gears change fast and smoothly, and the wheels freewheel smoothly so no rubbing on the break pads the components on the bike are also well made the frame although steel makes is light but not super light it's about 14kg this is just a very good value for money folding bike that does exactly what's it's supposed to do and more importantly my mum loves it

Good Frame. Bad Tyres

Only used it twice before my tyres became punctured by a tiny pebble. The bike ran well, the tyres seem like they are designed to be used on a clean indoor area rather than the real world.

Additional Product Information

Composition

Frame

  • 100% Steel

Frame

Hi-Ten steel frame. The easy lateral-fold system means the bike takes up little space at home, at the office, in the boot of a car or in a camper... you'll forget your bike is even there. Frame with a stand for better stability once folded.

Fork

Hi-ten steel fork for greater durability.

Drivetrain

The TILT 120 can be used on most gradients and has a 6-speed derailleur. Changing gears is very easy using the grip shifter. 165 mm cranks. 52-tooth chainwheel, 6-speed Shimano TZ20 14/28 freewheel. Metres of development: 2.96 m / 5.90 m.

Brakes

The steel V-Brakes guarantee effective and progressive braking.

Handlebar / stem / steering

Steel low-rise bars with a rise of 60 mm to adjust your position on the bike to suit your body and make the bike easier to handle. Handlebar width: 560 mm. Folding, non-adjustable stem made from aluminium for increased rigidity. Distance from saddle to handlebar: 540 mm. Bottom bracket to saddle distance: min. 520 mm - max. 740 mm

Saddle / seat post

Comfortable, seamless foam saddle and steel seat post (diam: 31.6 mm).

Wheels

20-inch, single-wall rims. Steel hub. System that holds the wheels together, making it easier to handle and store the bike once folded.
