Not in the least bit water resistant Make hands smell

Thanking you for taking the time to review the Down Mittens 500. These have 2,000mm waterproofing membrane. Unless you were in heavy rain or in submersion, it sounds like this may be a manufacturing fault.

With daily lockdown walks in my local park I needed some really good mitts as I was never going to get that hot in the depths of winter.
Nice warm mittens, been using them for bike training rides for well over a month (winter). Kept me warm over 1 hour bike ride at -1c to 5c with liners, though do started getting a little "brass monkey" over 2-3 hrs training rides. Could do with more wind-stopper type of material around the thumb. No problem with drop bars and bar-end shifters.
These mittens are great. I took them to Les Arcs and they kept my hands warm in -15C. They are super easy to put on and off and the leash is useful. The material on the thumb was perfect for wiping my runny nose. I did not experience cold hands with these and I often get cold hands. I am extremely pleased with them and think they are excellent value for money.
I suffer from cold hands and these helped me keep comfortable during cold winter months.

Ползвах ги за първи път вчера на 4-5 часов ски-преход в горната зона на Витоша, температура -8, сляб вятър. Материата откъм дланта е нещо като кожа, изглежда здрава, добре захваща щеката (не приплъзва). От външната страна на дланта е именно пълната с пух и перца част, която изолира добре. Усещах нормално ръцете си нри ходене нагоре и при спускане със ските. В последните години ми става все по-студено на ръцете и затова се реших на този пухен модел с 1 пръст само. За момента съм доволен от цена/качество.

Velikostně rukavice neodpovídají, jsou mnohem větší než je u jiných značek, mam velké ruce a musela jsem objednat XS, normálně mam S - M. Lyžovala jsem v nich 5 hodin a byla mi potom již zima, voděodolnost průměrná, hřejivost také, čekala jsem, že budou teplejší.

Component repellency
All Wed'ze gloves and mittens have a water-repellent treatment that means their fabric does not absorb water but instead ensures it slides across the surface. This means the fabric does not become saturated with water. It remains light and warm. A fabric becomes water-repellent thanks to a treatment applied to its outer surface. To remain effective, this treatment must be renewed every 2 to 3 washes with specific products that are available in our stores.
Waterproof membrane
This ski mitten has a waterproof membrane that consists of a very thin polymer film, placed between the lining and the part of the glove in contact with the outside. This membrane acts as a barrier to water and makes the product waterproof. In addition, the outer materials of the product benefit from a water-repellent treatment that reduces water absorption. Only a rubber-type glove is watertight. A glove with a membrane, under extremely humid conditions, will have limited waterproofness.
Windproofing
All Wed'ze gloves and mittens are windproof. Did you know that the wind makes you feel colder? At an outside temperature of 32°F and a wind speed of 12 mph, the temperature will feel like 14°F. Windproof fabrics limit wind-chill and cold caused by the speed of the sport.
Easy on
Simply pull the wrist strap with the opposite hand for speedy and effective adjustment.
Anti-loss system
A drawstring that goes around the wrist can be used to take off the mittens on ski lifts without losing them.
What is glove/mitten dexterity?
It reflects how easily you can handle objects while wearing the glove. All our gloves are given a dexterity score on a scale of 1 to 5 as part of a field test. Gloves with a dexterity score of 5 allow you to handle objects just as you would with bare hands. To give our gloves a dexterity score, we tested how well we could remove and put on ski goggles, adjust the hooks on a ski boot, and open and close a jacket.
