Product Customer Reviews

Bought these to fit in New bike I used these before in my old bike got 2 big thorns in front tyre and 2 in the back I had slime inner tube in rear tyre I pulled the thorns out inflated the tyres and rode home there still inflated I would say the decathlon tubes are better and cheaper for a fiver I would definitely recommend them
It was a very easy way to get the inner tubes and would use them again
Excellent value for money and your not left pushing instead of riding.
The tubes are easy to fit and feel a little bumpy on the first ride but they soon settle in and offer a comfy ride.they are good value and have a really long valve which is great
I normally buy the original Slime tubes and never had a problem. Bought two of these and both failed a FPS had to carry my bike crack to the car.
If you feel it is faulty and/or not fit for purpose, please return the item to us.

Not had a puncture yet since installing them as I am aware. So gatherthey must be working as I’ve done quite a lot of off-road riding on them.
Very good good inner tube, had puncture, sealed straight away, continued my ride trouble free.
Bought this weeks ago for my flatmate who ride bikes to commute to work everyday. He said it was really useful and the instruction made it easy to install. He likes this type of inner tube sooooo much.
I am a beginner for decathlon product, for this product, it looks good on the website. And I will try later.
I got a nail through my tyre and it went flat. Doesn't do want the picture implies. waste of money and has sludge rolling around inside the tube. better of getting a normal inner tube
If you are not happy with the innertube, you can of course return it to us for an exchange.

Poor valve means both my pumps will not hold and thus cannot get more than 40 PSI. Bike / Tyre requires 65 psi. Adapter won't hold on to valve so even 40 psi is a guess. Veryt frustrating. Add to that the vide shows a schreder valve in use and you wonder why. Maybe the video makers could not get it to hold either? Bought two. Usually I would drill my rims to use the car type schreder valves but thought I'd give these a chance. WRONG!
Sorry to hear about the issue you have come across with getting the self healing tube to inflate properly. Having used both the 27.5 & 29 version in store I haven't come across this issue which leads me to think there must be a fault with the 2 (batch) that you bought. I would suggest to take the tube & wheel into your local store to see if they have the same issue when trying to inflate over 40psi. If so I'd get them to exchange the tubes for you and fit them to make sure the same problem doesn't occur.

How to choose your inner tube
Check the information indicated on the sidewall of the tire (diameter and width). For example, 29x1.90 means that the tire is 29 inches in diameter and 1.90 inches wide. On the tire sidewall, you will also find the dimensions in mm in ETRTO international units. For example, 50-622 means that the tire is 50 mm wide with a 622 mm internal diameter (approx. 29x1.90).
Removing an inner tube
Remove the old inner tube using B'Twin tire levers.
Checks to carry out before installing an inner tube
Check the condition of your tire and replace it if necessary. Make sure no objects are lodged in the tire. Check the condition of your tire rim strip. A rim strip that is even slightly bent can cause punctures. Check that your rim does not have any other issues that could damage your inner tube
Mounting the inner tube
Watch our video before you start. Pre-inflate the inner tube slightly to avoid pinching. Insert the valve, making sure you are using the correct valve for your rim. Put the inner tube entirely inside the tire so that it fits inside the rim. Take care not to pinch the inner tube when fitting.
Mounting the tire
Start by mounting the tire onto the wheel on the opposite side to the valve. Finish mounting the tire at the valve to avoid pinching the inner tube. Never mount your tire with a screwdriver or a tire lever, as you risk pinching and puncturing the inner tube.
Inflating the tire
Inflate your tire carefully, to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer (visible on the tire sidewall in PSI or bars, 1 bar = 14.51 PSI). Regularly check that your tire is in the correct position as you inflate it.
Tip from the pros
To prevent any puncture from pinching and to achieve the best performance, we recommend checking and, if necessary, pumping up your front tire before each ride.
