Decent budget product
Excellent product, caught up in a heavy shower when out cycling. Keep me dry and warm. Would highly recommend this jacket.

For this jacket, the heavier the rain, the more waterproof it becomes. The jacket is made from material that resists the pressure of water exerted by 2000mm of water.

I have tested the jacket on dry and very wet conditions. Although a little sweaty in dry warm conditions, it really served its purpose when riding in heavy rain.
The jacket is amazing
This was a surprise to me. For the price i was expecting something that would work in a light shower at most. I was proved wrong one ride home when the heavens opened up. Better than my last jacket which was twice as much. It's lightweight and sturdy (my last jacket the zips broke within weeks). Would recommend for anyone who rides casually/for fun.
For the cash it's hard to beat. Seems waterproof enough but it's really not very breathable at all. Condensation builds up quickly and midlayers get wet from it . They don't quote the breathability of it, so I guess it's pretty low.
Bought this to replace another jacket, highly recommended
Probably the best thing about this top is the fabric - it is relatively stiff and totally waterproof. Not very breathable, but the garment has lots of vents at front and back to prevent moisture buildup inside. A generous cut with long sleeves and drop at the back. I thought it was a bit pricy for such a basic top, but it certainly seems good quality. Only 4 stars due to price.

I recently did the london to brighton offroad bike ride, the last 6 hours were torrential rain and the wind got increasingly stronger. This jacket kept out the rain for a good 5 hours before the combination of wind and rain finally got through. Through all this I didnt really notice that I was any more sweaty than if i wa wearing a normal jersey
The Jacket is great , I have onlyused it once, because my Beloved and brand new Btwin triban 100 road bike was stolen , I now cannot get around or get to work , that was the best bike I've ever had.
A very comfortable lightweight jacket that offers wind protection. Haven't been out in bad weather yet,but it should be waterproof. Great price & comes with the Decathlon warranty. Very pleased with the jacket & equally impressed with the fantastic service that the Warrington branch offer.
I bought mine for cross-country horse riding. We have the same problem as cyclists, that as soon as you get moving you work up a sweat and, even if a jacket keeps the rain out, you are soaked on the inside. The vents on this thing worked brilliantly. The waterpoofing was far better than I expected. I spent a week in Ireland in high winds and torrential rain, and stayed dry and comfortable. This would be very good value at twice the price. An excellent piece of kit.

Waterproofing
Waterproofing is a fabric's ability to prevent rain water from passing through. A fabric's waterproofing is determined by measuring its resistance to the pressure exerted by a water column, measured in mm (test based on ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Material with a waterproof rating of 2000 mm resists the pressure exerted by 2000 mm of water (which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour rain shower).
Breathability
To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on standard ISO 11092). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric will let water vapor produced by the body escape, and therefore the more breathable it is.
Compatibility with vioo clip lights
This product has a hook for attaching a VIOO Clip, an LED light that can be clipped on and off anywhere in an instant. With a red or white light that can be used in continuous or flashing mode, the Vioo Clip makes you clearly visible from up to 130 yds away. Battery life is 9 hours in flashing mode, 4½ hours in continuous mode. Easy to recharge via a USB cable (sold with the VIOO Clip).
