Active Sports - Union Square
I practice at Active Sports on Mason Street. It’s a quick walk away from my work and apartment. Plus, the staff is super-friendly, and they limit the number of people per lane to 2. That means the pool is never over-crowded.
Dolphin Club - Fisherman's Wharf
If you're willing to brave chilly waters, catch a swim alongside the Dolphin Club swimmers, who brave the open waters at Fisherman’s Wharf.
Outside Magazine - Diana Nyad
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find many swim media outlets that go beyond competitive swim news. However, I’ve found some amazing stories of swimmers through magazine such as Outside. Check out the link above to learn about Diana Nyad, who swam nonstop from Cuba to Florida without a shark cage.
Bold Italic - Fisherman's Wharf
