Good quality product - no issues like some previous reviewers have noted. Good way to get around the limits on the 7kg vertical Smart Lock weight. The handles are a bit closer together than I expected.

Quality of welding bit poor, but good value for money. Knurl for grip could be better
The Tricep Bar purchased from Decathlon is an exceptional piece of equipment for working the triceps, whether skull crushers lying down or at an angle on the bench and even overhead. I also use it to work the forearms, and upper chest on an incline. The build quality is strong and can put on quite a decent amount of weight plates for heavier kg. Not forgetting the price which I feel is great value. A good buy.
Ordered lots of fitness items from Decathlon as usually you are guaranteed great quality and design. I ordered several bars including this tricep bar. Firstly I was disappointed that it didn't come with clips. You can buy cheaper bars and they all come with clips/ locks. But my biggest criticism is the lazy design whereby the plates sit loosely against the middle body of the bar. So they are never quite straight and wobble about no matter what type of additional clip/ clamp you purchase. This is even with the correct 28mm plates I have. Why on earth did they not have a 'lip' like every other bar on the market ( including decathlons ez bar and barbells). Must be cost cutting or just a lazy poor design. Very surprised. Also this bar doesn't feel any more solid or heavier than my much cheaper 25mm tricep bar. I'd like my money back but wouldn't be worth the petrol or postage cost. Will have to find a better designed product as its daunting doing overhead work with very loose plates.
I have always thought there were only 2 bar sizes, Olympic and standard 1". This bar is slightly bigger than the 1" meaning my existing weights did not all fit. Some did, but not enough of them. The lesson is that the Decathlon weights have a slightly larger hole that equates to 1.1". I still love the bar, it is well made and solid, just make sure you have weights from Decathlon to be sure they will fit.

This bar is made of hollow tubes, welded together. And it has some metal debris trapped inside, like metal shavings, which move freely, making annoying noise. I've ordered a replacement, click and collect, only to find a similar defect in the new item. Decathlon didn't mind to refund me for both, so this is not a customer service problem. The problem is that I've invested heavily into Decathlon 28 mm weightlifting equipment, which is a unique Decathlon standard. So I can't buy a similar bar elsewhere, I'm stuck with Decathlon 28 mm standard now, and with whatever quality is on offer.
I was very disappointed that the Trisecp Bar is not made with solid metal and it is made with hollow material. Not sturdy for heavy weights.

There should be a collar at the rounded end of the sleeve so that the weight plates can be secured flat by inserting another collar. The plates rattles at the rounded end.
