The wet suit fits perfect and the price was amazing.
The suit feels of very good quality throughout. There does not appear to be any weak points. Finishing of the seams and edges is near perfect. The quality for the price presents excellent value compared to most other options on the market.

Not tried yet but looks good value Only issue is how do you manage to get the over the head back panel on. Especially if you have no one around to help?
I’ve had this wetsuit for a year now and it’s holding up well. Fits really well comfortable and keeps you really warm. I’m still wearing this wetsuit in the winter with a 1mm vest and hood underneath with no complaints of being cold. The only small criticism is it’s slightly more difficult to put on than a front zip wet suit.
Great quality. Can only complain about how hard it is to pull the zip closed yourself even with the extended cord. Other than that, I would highly recommend

Very effective in May/June UK waters. Sizing as expected
This is my first wetsuit so deciding which to buy was tricky. I use it for open water swimming. I've found this works well and currently using it in 11c sea temperature and kept warm enough. Seems to be very well made and so hope it lasts well. Size I am 188cm and 88kg 35" waist and bought an XL which fits well.

Got this for 13 year old son now he’s in the men’s sizes. He really loves it, the thickness, comfort, warmth and he particularly likes the neck warmer (great when at home in Scotland), however there are no zips at the bottom above the ankles which makes it trickier to get on and off. At the price, I hope he gets used to it soon!
Gemäss Decathlon Grössen Rechner auf der Homepage müsste ich Grösse S bestellen. Da ich bis anhin bei Neopren M trug bestellte ich M. Ich bin 174, 65kg, schmal gebaut. M passt perfekt und schliesst Beine,. Arme und Kopf gut ab. Für alle kräftiger gebauten wäre nochmals mindestens 2 Nummer grösser als Homepagerechner angesagt.
Die Größenangabe "L" passt mit meinen Maßen ganz gut. Körpergröße 172 cm, Brustumfang 98 cm, Taille 87 cm. Bei meinen bisherigen Neoprenanzügen von verschiedenen anderen Herstellern in "M" gabs häufig Probleme mit dem zu geringen Brustumfang, obwohl die Länge "M" immer ausreichend waren. Der Versand ging, wie immer bei Decathlon gewohnt schnell. Über die Haltbarkeit und die Passform im Wasser kann ich aktuell natürlich noch keine Angaben machen.
Ich hatte schon den Vorgänger vom diesem Wetsuit, der hat aber nicht länger als ein Jahr gehalten, weil sich die Nähte aufgelöst haben. Dieses neue Modell finde ich noch schlechter verarbeitet, es beginnen sich bereits wieder Nähte aufzulösen. Zusätzlich scheuert die weiche innere Halskrause total am Hals, weil die Verklebung oben mit einer scharfen Kante endet. Nach 2 Stunden Surfen habe ich da praktisch eine offene Wunde am Hals. Schade, weil Passform, Wärme, Material und Design eigentlich in Ordnung sind.
Der Anzug ist sehr gut verarbeitet und sitzt sehr gut. Hält super warm und hat ein angenehmes Tragegefühl. War damit bis dato ca. 20h auf dem Wasser in der Nordsee und einem See im Rheinland. Bis dato keine Abnutzungserscheinungen. Werde mir weitere Anzüge von OLAIN kaufen

How to choose the right wetsuit (part 1)
The first selection criterion when choosing a surfing wetsuit is the water temperature. Water temperature varies according to the location and the time of the year. Systematically make sure that the water temperature at your spot corresponds to the recommended temperature range: Warm water above 68°F. Temperate water between 62 and 72°F. Cold water between 53 and 62°F. Very cold water between 45 and 54°F. Visit the site seatemperature.org to find out the temperature of your spot.
How to choose the right wetsuit (part 2)
The 2nd criterion to take into account is the length of your sessions. If your sessions last less than an hour, the 100 models will be suitable. For up to 2 hours, opt for the 500 models and for up to 3 hours, the 900 models. Compared to the 100 models, the 500 models will be warmer (and more watertight) and more efficient at reducing fatigue (more freedom of movement) and irritation. The same is true for the 900 models compared with the 500 models. NB: the 900 models are easier to put on.
Choose the right size
To make the most of the features of your wetsuit, it is necessary to choose the correct size. A surfing wetsuit should be a very tight fit and there should be no visible folds. When dry, it is perfectly normal to feel like it is too tight, this discomfort disappears as soon as the wetsuit gets wet. If you choose a wetsuit that is too big, folds will appear, you will experience irritation and thermal insulation will be reduced (letting in water). Try it on before you buy it!
Materials
This OLAIAN 500 4/3 wetsuit is made with genuine neoprene for even better thermal insulation. The neoprene is lined with synthetic fabric for added resistance to wear. Neoprene thickness: 4 and 3 mm. Neoprene is a closed-cell polychloroprene elastomeric foam with trapped nitrogen bubbles that have insulating properties. We test and guarantee the thermal quality of our neoprene materials.
Neck
The neck finish has been developed to limit irritation. According to the sensitivity of the wearer, a UV top can be worn under the wetsuit to reduce the risk of irritation. The application of grease (e.g. Vaseline) in friction areas (neck, underarms) is also recommended if wearing the wetsuit for long periods. Make sure the flap is always inside the wetsuit to limit the risk of irritation with the zipper and the neck.
Fastening
Our zippers and fastenings are laboratory-tested in order to ensure an optimal lifespan and good resistance to salt water. We have put the zipper at the back of the wetsuit for more comfort during surf sports (when lying down to paddle).
Watertight assembly
The seams are stitched and glued to ensure a watertight seal and durability. The seams are blind-stitched, which means the thread does not pass through the entire thickness of the neoprene and so prevents water from getting through. The absence of threads on the inside avoids irritation and chafing. Patches for comfort and reinforcement are strategically placed on the inside in sensitive areas.

Anti-chafing design
We designed this product with seamless panels under the arms to limit irritation due to the repetitive paddling movements associated with surf sports.
