After a year the chrome started flaking off the dumbbells. It's quite sharp and some managed to slice into my thumb and break off there into lots of little pieces. Took about half an hour to dig it all out with tweezers.

If it was not the case before, please make sure your plates and barbells are stored inside or in a dry place to avoid corrosion.

They're cast iron weights, they are what I was looking for. I'm not a pro, just looking to work out a little, tone up. The bar comes in 2 pieces. Screws together. Make sure it's tight. Packaging is good. Delivery was fast. Thank you!

I canceled my gym membership once covid started and took me a long while to find a barbell that didn't look sketch or flimsy. Glad I came across this kit, definitely worth the price and the price seemed like a lot at first but it won’t disappoint. What you’re getting for this price is amazing! Especially if you’re trying to make your own home gym. I know for a fact I won’t be going to the gym probably ever again. Great quality, truly impressed. I was a little little hesitant ordering something like this online but after I received the item and unboxed it I was extremely pleased with the high quality of materials used and the wide assortment of weights offered. This is a starter set for my weight lifting and I find that it offers a great variety of weights to start with.

Been in lockdown for most of the year and my wife is pregnant so going back to the gym is out of the question. Shopped for a long time trying to find the perfect set. The bar fits perfectly in my small space and the dumbells are great. All items are very high quality. I ended up buying 4 x 10kg plates to go with this set and so far it's a great combo.
This is a good set for a beginner. The bars for the barbell and dumbells are nicely knurled for a good grip, without being too sharp, and the weights are coated with an even coating of some sort of baked finish, so they shouldn't rust in indoor use. The clamps to secure the weights are very simple and quick to use. Time will tell how well they last. Overall I think this has been a good purchase for working out at home, and I am happy to recommend it.
The set looks good but it's somewhat misleading. Only after I brought it home and opened the box did I notice it having a "warning" to say each dumbbell can't hold more than 7kg worth of plates per side if it's in a hammer fist position.. This is quite scary given I would say that people buying weight sets for home are fitness enthusiasts and the average weight lifter would be lifting anywhere from 20kg - 40kg per hand.. This dumbbell set because of the clip setting only allows up to 14kg which is silly. The warning labels says if you put more than 7kg of plates per side on the dumbbell (total of 14kg), the plates may fall off When Im training I want to be focusing on lifting weights, not paying attention to if my weight plates are going to fall off and hurt me in the process Im waiting for lockdown to end so I can return this to the store

Great gears, I wish there were mor 1 kg weights

Great quality weights, very happy with our purchase. Have been great to have in isolation, would recommend.
Good barbell but dumbells are a bit loose and wiggle a bit as you perform the curl. I would like them if they didn't move so much.

Yes, the barbell included in this set can hold up to 350lbs. You can complete it with Domyos Irons casting plates ranging from 1.1lbs to 44lbs and increase your workout load by 3!

Store your weight set inside for more durability. Humidity can affect the quality of the paint on the plates or get the iron to rust.
