Product Customer Reviews

This is a smooth ride. Very sturdy. Ours has taken quite a beating and is still going strong. My kids play with their scooters every single day. I would say it was worth the extra money for a good long lasting scooter.
My son loves it!
Great upgrade for our 7 year old from three to two wheels.
Perfect for our 9 year old.
great quality
ok
Bought for my 7 year old son, perfect for him to progress from a three wheel scooter. Build quality is good, quiet and sturdy wheels and bearings.
We got this scooter for our 7 year old for Christmas. So far so good. A nice looking scooter, and seems to handle well. So far he hasn’t tried any tricks but it looks like it is well equipped for that. The handle doesn’t adjust, that was one thing I didn’t anticipate. But I think we will well and truly get our money’s worth before he grows out of it.
My 7 year old is thrilled with his new scooter. My older kids attest that this is the smoothest riding scooter they have ever used. We’re all happy!
Bought for my 5 year old excellent build quality
My 6 year old loves doing his stunts on it.
Fabulous scooter for 8 year old
Broke after a week!!!! The brake bend and was blocking the wheel, went back to decathlon and was told that it’s our fault as apparently it couldn’t happen from normal use. Did not accept it under the warranty :( let me just add that my boy is 5 and this happened at the park it’s a stunt scooter so how could a 5 year old brake it within a week. Don’t buy it if you don’t want to waste your money!!!!
Dear Natalia,

What is the difference between a freestyle scooter and a "normal" scooter?
The differences between a freestyle scooter and a classic scooter are similar to those between a BMX bike and a city bike. A freestyle scooter has wider handlebars and smaller wheels (making it easier to handle). Its weight is also different (it is lighter) and it is more maneuverable. Since the aim is to do tricks, the handlebars can do a full turn, for example. Freestyle scooters are also more rigid and sturdy.
Deck
Painted, 6061 T6 aluminum deck. 3 channel structure with 4 reinforced rails. Dimensions: 110 x 500 mm (4"x19").

One piece steel T-bar. Dimensions: diameter = 31.8, H = 500 mm, L = 420 mm. T-bar/deck angle: 82.5°.
Fork
Iron reinforced fork ONLY compatible with 100 mm diameter wheels (integrated spacer system in the fork).
Headset
1/1"8 Threaded VP headset. Standard compression system (SCS).
Collar clamp

Wheels
100 mm diameter rubber, nylon core, PU 88A wheels mounted on ABEC5 608ZZ bearings.
Why are there different wheel sizes?
100, 110 or 120 mm? The bigger the wheel's diameter, the more stability the rider will have, which helps them go faster ... The downside is the weight. A bigger wheel will be heavier and harder to maneuver when doing tricks. The wheel size should therefore be chosen based on your aims.

Freestyle scootering is an extreme sport (even for a beginner). Our OXELO MF range is designed for this type of use; they are sturdy but not indestructible.
