Great value and ticks all the boxes
My son loves his new scooter
Is it normal that I have to push the break very hard before it fully stops? Greetings
Beautiful scooter, very well made.
My son has had this scooter for 4 months, and has enjoyed riding it, but there is a serious design issue with it. The brake has sheared off after only 4 months and to make matters worse the replacement part is now completely out of stock everywhere, leaving us with an unusable scooter. If you read other reviews of the scooter and of the replacement brake, you will see people complaining about the same thing and Decathlon replying to acknowledge that there is an issue with it. To be fair to Decathlon they have been good at initially attempting to get a replacement brake, but now agreeing to take the scooter back for a full refund.
Hi Paul,
Thank you for taking the time to review our scooter. It will help our product managers for further reviews on the product development.

After looking around at some major scooter brands this scooter packs a punch. It is a worthy rival of any brand name. It offers style strength and is relatively lightweight at a brilliant price. Well worth the investment. Smooth speedy wheels for sure glides effortlessly. Thanks Decathlon!

What is the difference between a freestyle scooter and a ”normal” scooter?
The differences between a freestyle scooter and a classic scooter are similar to those between a BMX bike and a city bike.A freestyle scooter has wider handlebars and smaller wheels (making it easier to handle). Its weight is also different (it is lighter) and it is more maneuverable. Since the aim is to do tricks, the handlebars can do a full turn, for example.Freestyle scooters are also more rigid and sturdy.
Choosing the right size freestyle scooter
To choose the right size freestyle scooter, stand on it and check that the handlebar comes up to hip level, your arms are stretched out and your back straight.
What type of fork does this scooter have?
Reinforced T6 aluminum fork. Fork compatible with 125 mm diameter wheels max (integrated spacer system. The spacer sits between the 2 bearings to relieve pressure on these bearings).
What is a flex brake system?
A ”flex brake” is designed to return to its original shape after each squeeze. The main difference compared to a spring brake is that it limits vibrations. This system also stops the rubber on the wheels from wearing out so quickly.
What kind of pegs come with this freestyle scooter?
2 aluminum pegs of 2 different lengths, one for the front (the longer one) and the other for the back (the shorter one). The 36 mm diameter keeps things more stable on grinds and makes it easier to learn tricks.
What kind of handle does the mf3.6 scooter come with?
The ribbed TPR handles give you good grip.
What type of collar clamp is used?
2-screw MF3.6 collar clamp made from 6061 T6 aluminum.Shim to make it compatible with handlebars measuring 31.8 mm to 34.9 mm in diameter.
What size are the wheels?
Oxelo 120 mm diameter, alloy core (wheel with spokes), high rebound PU 88A wheels. The wheels are mounted on 608Z ABEC-7 NMB bearings for a long lifespan. This wheel size is more stable and faster for freestyle scootering.
Why are there different wheel sizes?
100, 110 or 120 mm? The bigger the wheel's diameter, the more stability the rider will have, which helps them go faster ...The downside is the weight. A bigger wheel will be heavier and harder to maneuver when doing tricks. The wheel size should therefore be chosen based on your aims.
