Chosen because it is extra long. Fits well and lets little cold through. Fortunately, it is not standard black.
perfect for motorcycle, multifunctional
I don't use it for skiing, so my opinion shouldn't be taken into account if that's what you want to use it for. I use it for seaside fishing in winter. Concerning me, it doesn't fit well on the nose, it slips. The fleece lining at nose/mouth height is pleasant. On the other hand, you can't wear it on your nose and wear glasses at the same time because it immediately fogs up the glasses' lenses and that's my only regret. Worn around the neck, it protects well from moderate cold accentuated by wind (prefer a fleece version if it is really cold) and without the disadvantage of the volume of a scarf and without the risk of losing it.
