Top grade materials and craftsmaship! Intricate convenience features typical for european tents. I have several popups, and feel like this one was the only one worth buying, everything else looks like a gimmick by comparison. I'm ordering a 3 person version! As expected the tent occuppancy ratings are overly optimistic. This one is plenty for one person.
This tent is perfect for me! I am an older woman and not as strong as I used to be! I have had other pop up tents and this is by far the easiest to pack up! A lot if thought and care went into the design process, from the incredible ease due to the color coded clasps (to keep the tent from exploding open during packing) and the pull strap to assist in the final fold before placing it in the bag. Ventilation is the main reason I chose the Fresh and Black model. I cannot attest to it being waterproof at this time due to fair weather, but there is a YouTube video of a gentleman completely soaking the tent with a hose for more than 30 min and the tent was bone dry! What a Great Purchase!❤️
Après y avoir installé mon matelas Air Second 80 et mon sac de couchage Forclaz 0degré Orange, tous deux mesurant 200cm, j'ai eu la mauvaise surprise de voir que j'étais trop à l'étroit dans la tente. Ma tête et mes pieds en fort contact avec les parois intérieures de la tente.
Rapid set-up. Freestanding tent (you place it wherever you want once set up and, if there's no wind, you can use it with no pegs = direct use!). Folds up easily thanks to the Easy guide system.
Flysheet with 2 side panels that can be extended and fixed with side guy ropes (opening from the inside). The air can circulate in the sleeping area. The entire rear sleeping area flysheet can also be lifted from the inside by pulling on a rope. 2 spaces between the flysheet and the ground on each side in the middle of the sleeping area to allow the air to be refreshed and limit as much as possible the natural phenomenon of condensation. Fresh concept reduces the sun's heat.
The Ti0² -coated fabric is SPF 50+. Please note: a large amount of UV radiation can enter through a single open door. Protect your skin with suncream.
All Quechua tents are laboratory-tested (entire tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours) as well as field-tested. (Polyester 200 mm PU-coated flysheet, polyethylene groundsheet 4.2 oz/m², all seams sealed with heat-bonded strips). The presence of a breathable polyester sleeping area under the flysheet prevents contact with the condensation water droplets that can settle on the inside of the flysheet.
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly positioned around the tent should remain habitable in wind speeds of up to 30 mph measured near ground level (Force 6).

All tents sold by Decathlon are guaranteed for 2 years of normal use (your loyalty card or receipt acts as proof of purchase). In case of any problem, have your tent examined in the nearest Decathlon store. Spare parts and pole repairs at the workshop of your Decathlon store.
