> 20,000 cycles in the Martindale test. 20 denier thread. Polyamide canvas.
Inflating polyester fill. Drawstring at jacket base.
Fill made of 25% recycled polyester. Gray lining with low CO2 impact.
Easily folds away into its left-hand pocket using a zipper with double pull.
Surface-treated outer fabric to prevent water from getting in.
This down jacket weighs approximately 14.1 oz in size M.
Synthetic fabric and insulation that can be machine washed at 86°F.
Very warm for its size and it packs down well. I am normally a medium, but this jacket is cut on the small side.
Nice and light keeps you warm
Could go for better jacket for 2oC
Worst product experienced. The zip of the jacket damaged in very first use.
Hello Arijit
Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the product and we understand how much frustrating it can be if the zip broke in the very first use. Please feel free to visit your nearest Decathlon store and exchange/return the product as per your convenience.

Excellent product
This kept me warm on sub zero days with just T-shirt, and still light enough to stuff into a large pocket. Best jacket I've ever had for travelling. Only downside is the lack of colour alternatives - a red or burgundy would've been nice.
Good
Really light and portable (since you can roll it up inside one of the pockets). Great for a chilly day and windy day. Sleek profile and doesn't look puffy like some jackets in this style. I've worn it under a drizzle and it's been water repellent so far. My wife and I both have one of these!
The forclaz jacket is very good light and warm. I got it at very reasonable price too at Decthalon
Warm n light
Very flimsy material that is prone to tearing and burning. I had a bog hole created due to the same.
Hello Mr. Nitin
Thank you for your valuable review. We use 25% recycled eco-friendly polyester in Trek 100 jackets to deliver our promise of Eco-conception and Since we need to make mountain trekking jackets lightweight and warm on the same time. Hence It is perfect for mountain trekking but has to be kept away from fire and pointy sharp objects.
I hope the information was helpful kindly write back to me in case of any further query.

Really good light weight and warm jacket
Very comfortable & stylish
A good product which was able to take most of the cold during my Kuari Pass trek.
Zip system is not good
This polyamide fabric that uses 20 denier thread resists 20,000 cycles of abrasion. Martindale test, Standard 12947-2 Outer: 100% polyamide fabric 1.4 oz/sqm, 20 denier Lining: 100% polyester fabric 1.2 oz/sqm, mix of 15 to 20 denier threads
This down jacket has been certified for a comfort temperature of 21°F during a standardized test in a thermal chamber. The model wears a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 3 mph wind. In our heat comparison tool, it represents 2 stars.
We use 100% polyester fill (25% recycled). The wadding is made from silicone-coated spiral fibers that make it highly compressible and highly durable. Despite its low thickness, it has high insulation properties thanks to the air trapped inside, and remains lightweight. It remains warm even when wet.
Because the fabric we use reduces CO2 emissions by 40%. The fabric used is innovative because it mixes a self-dyed black thread and an undyed thread. Compared to a classic dyeing process, this process reduces by: - 66% fine particle emissions (PM2.5) - 74% Eutrophication of fresh water - 68% eutrophication of sea water
On the Trek 100 black and Trek 100 blue models, the outer fabric uses a clean process known as dope dyeing (the thread is dyed before the yarn is woven) reducing CO2 emissions by 36%. More information: http://developpement-durable.decathlon.com/
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface; however, this property may deteriorate with use. In order to reactivate it, follow the guide: https://www.quechua.co.uk/advice/how-do-you-restore-water-repellent-properties-your-jacket-a_86426
Inside flap under the zipper that protects from the wind. Elasticated cuffs, flap at the top of the collar to protect the chin. Tightening with an elastic cord and toggle at the hem. Hood with elastic bias binding
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire lifecycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE rating is given to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing and contrasting products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon actively promotes this environmental rating initiative. More information: http://developpement-durable.decathlon.com/
Imported
In November 2017, 6 backpackers (4 men and 2 women) with part of the Forclaz design team tested this down jacket for 4 days in the Southern French Alps. We were then able to make the final modifications and validate it for use in mountain backpacking.
