The design and balance are great for young kids. However, the rubber strap at the bottom that holds the bars broke rather soon.
I've not yet given my grandson the scooter, but for now.... It's great! It arrived on time - and quickly! It's nice and small, so not hard for a small child to handle. But best of all, it's made well. Nice, strong frame; easy to pop the handle in or out for quick and easy carrying or storage; steering is smooth yet made to only turn 'just so far' - not too far, so not a hazard. Can't wait to give it to him on his birthday. Don't forget to buy the shell, as it's needed to stand on; I recommend buying two.

Brought for my son birthday which was the last couple days we love the idea of interchangeable plates to match helmet. His only 2 but can already maneuver a 3 wheel scooter

Our 2yo girl loves this! It's very easy to use, very light do carry when she gets tired and decides she doesn't want to play anymore and very stable, I'm not afraid that she will get hurt or anything. I highly recommend.

Les grandeur est parfait pour mon garçon de 2 ans, avec beaucoup de place pour grandir. Les trois roues apportent assez de stabilité pour permettre aux tous petits de s'en servir. Mon garçon à rapidement compris le principe. La qualité semble très bien pour le prix et j'aime beaucoup la possibilité de choisir la couleur de la base.

Little one loves this scooter. However have noticed her falling off more and more off the scooter from some difficulty steering she is 4 now. Today was riding scooter to school and the brake snapped off so my little one then stumbled and hurt herself over the scooter as she tryed stopping. Not very happy with this product. And currently looking for a new scooter. Loved the fact I could change out the board colours as little one constantly changes the colours she likes.

The curved handlebar was designed to improve the child's position. The B1 is an intuitive, easy-to-ride scooter that helps children steer, supports their psychomotor development, and helps them learn.
How does the b1 scooter affect a child's psychomotor development?
To develop their psychomotor skills, your child needs to master their balance, hand, foot and eye coordination, and understand how their body is oriented in space. The 3-wheeled B1 scooter has been specially designed with the help of a physiotherapist to make it easier for very young children, aged just 2, to get to grips with these skills and learn while having fun!
How does the b1 scooter work?
With its unique and patented steering system, the B1's deck tilts precisely to provide the ideal balance for your child on each turn. This system prevents the child being thrown off balance when pushing forward or turning. The intuitive design even helps children to develop their basic motor skills.
What safety precautions should you take with the b1 scooter?
We recommend wearing protective equipment when riding a scooter. This is the case for kids of all ages! Remember to get your child a helmet. They may also need knee pads and elbow pads depending on their level.
How easy is it for kids to ride the b1 scooter?
The PU rubber wheels and ABEC 1 bearings offer a glide quality that suits the abilities of 2- to 4-year-olds: good, but limited. The aim is not to frighten the child by building up too much speed.

The B1 kids' scooter is easy to assemble thanks to its 5 screws that quickly attach the colored shell to the frame. This shell (sold separately and essential for using the scooter) can be replaced as often as you like - perfect for giving your scooter a new lease of life!

We recommend you check the condition of your scooter before and after each ride. Remember to check for abnormal play, cracks, and sharp edges. The wheels and bearings are wearing parts. Remember to check them and change them if necessary. To repair your scooter and extend its lifespan, visit your local Decathlon workshop, which can order any spare parts you may need.
Is there a trick to carrying the b1 scooter?
The handlebar can be removed in 1 second and fixed underneath the deck with a rubber strap. This makes the B1 less bulky for when you want to transport or store it at home or in the car.
How are our products tested?
All of our scooters have been lab-tested. These tests check compliance with the European standards for scooters and check wear on the scooter. For example, one of our tests involves a machine folding the scooter 10,000 times to check its folding system. As well as lab tests we do field tests - some measured and others based on the testers' opinions - to really put the product through its paces. The result is a tested, proven product.
