Product Customer Reviews

Very comfortable. Perfect sizing.
Perfect for Snowshoes and really warm
Theses boots are great for weather between -1 and -20 celcious I also wear warm socks underneath so my feet are warm and cozy. I like that they are light not heavy like other boots. I use these to do my groceries or to go to work or commuting in the city. Theses boots don’t grip so well on icy sidewalks so be careful and keep that detail in mind. For now theses boots do the job well.
I bought these boots as I work in a plant nursery and over winter - my feet used to get frozen! But this winter they were so warm and toasty in these boots! So happy with them for the price, warm, lightweight, waterproof and stylish. 10/10!!
The boots held up for 2 days walking in wet conditions in Iceland but got soaked through on the third day walking in snow and rain for 12km. They now are stinking Does this count for a warranty claim? Or how can I wash them?
Warm comfy walking boots.
Comfortable & warm. Recovering from a sprained ankle & have found these boots are supporting my ankle well, keeping it very stable. Looking forward to use them for hiking in Iceland. It's a shame they are no longer making them.
These boots are very waterproof and really comfy I bought the size up so I can wear thick socks. They are so nice to wear I can wear them all day.
Have bought this boot three times over as I have worn out each pair . They’re so comfortable and trusty, perfectly light weight stylish walking boot.
I have already recommended these boots to my friends, they are fantastic
I absolutely loved these boots. Comfiest and cosiest I have found, whilst still being lightweight. Unfortunately found out in the rain today that they are no longer waterproof after only 9 months of light wear. Very disappointed
I have owned these shoes for 7 months l, using them pretty much every weekend and sone week days. They are just amazing: totally waterproof, really warm and sturdy, excellent grip on all sorts of terrain. Best value for money !!
They seemed good quality and warmth for the price but sadly they were too narrow for me and slightly too small.
Ordered a 5 but they were more like a 4. Returned.
Bought for my wife during the snow that we had recently. She says that they are very comfortable, light and warm and would highly recommend if you are thinking about buying.

These waterproof and warm boots will provide you with very good hold for snowshoeing. the snowcontact sole
We have selected warm and insulating materials for this boot, providing good protection against snow and cold. We have tested it in the laboratory and in the field with our user representatives. We checked the temperature up to which it stays comfortable when you're stationary and when you're walking, as this varies a lot: 25°F when static and 3°F when moving. And we took into account how temperature is felt differently by men and women.
How do your boots protect you from outdoor conditions?
Your boots have been designed with a membrane to ensure optimal water-resistance. A membrane is a very thin component (5 to 25 micrometers) affixed to the inside of a fabric that prevents water from entering while allowing moisture to escape. While you stay warm in your boots, your feet will also stay dry. The sole insulates from the cold coming from contact with snow.
Breathable boots for optimal thermal comfort
Thermal comfort is a balance between the warmth of the boots and its ability to allow the foot to breathe. Too much heat or not enough breathability means that damp accumulates and cold can set in. We have designed your boots with your activity in mind, regular and sometimes intense, with a membrane whose role is to prevent water from entering on 1 side while allowing moisture to escape on the other.
How can you be sure your boots are 100% waterproof?
We made sure that your boots are waterproof by conducting laboratory tests to simulate walking with the boots half submerged in water. We also conducted field tests to measure wear and aging. During the waterproofing test, we test 3 levels of waterproofing: 2,000 flexes (about 2.5-mile walk), 4,000 flexes (about 5-mile walk), and 8,000 flexes (about 10-mile walk). This model of boot has been tested with up to 8,000 flexes, which is equivalent to 10 miles of walking.
What is the difference between traction and grip?
The traction of the boots depends on the number and shape of the studs. The grip is dependent on the materials of the sole and the tread pattern, like the tires of your car. Traction optimizes propulsion, prevents the boot from slipping backward when going uphill, and stabilizes the boot. Grip prevents the boot from slipping and skidding on smooth ground or in demanding conditions (rain, snow, ice) by giving grip to the sole.
What is the purpose of the snowcontact technology on the soles of your boots?
The SNOWCONTACT soles are designed using a specific component and stud pattern (5 mm) to provide the best possible grip and traction. SNOWCONTACT soles are more effective than traditional soles on snow. When walking on ice, the only way to ensure optimum safety is to add anti-slip grips to your boots.
Why is it important to be supported in a hiking boot?
The support provided by your boot is essential for your comfort when walking. Indeed, good support optimizes your steps on hilly terrain (ascent and descent), prevents your foot from sliding in the boot, and reduces the occurrence of blisters. There is less loss in the transmission of your energy to the boot and therefore less fatigue. This is especially important when you are snowshoeing.
Are your boots suitable for snowshoeing?
We designed these boots for hiking on snow, with or without snowshoes. The upper of the boot (mid-height type) combined with gaiters (external or integrated in the pants), provides good protection against snow getting in. Waterproof and warm, their support and rigidity are more suitable for walking with snowshoes.
Will your boots withstand regular use over the long term?
Our engineers conduct laboratory tests to ensure that the product fully complies with your satisfaction in use. Our verifications include the following elements: tearing eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV-resistance, abrasion-resistance of outsole and upper components, accelerated aging.
