Very good mountain bike. THE…

Very good mountain bike. The single chainring still limits use on rolling terrain. The rugged places are therefore a playground and there you will not be disappointed. Comfort, handling nothing to say. Heat up the thighs!

Fine bike

Great mountain bike - good handling, very easy to control hydraulic brakes, comfortable saddle. I would like to choose it again.

??

A bike with the best price-quality ratio on the market, everything arrived great after one muddy trip :), the only thing missing is the possibility of installing larger sprockets at the front, the only minus is the waiting time for the bike - about 3 weeks...

good bike, but requires minor adjustments.

I cycled about 170 km. for now, 3 routes of 50 km and several smaller ones (5-10 km). The geometry is different than my previous Kross "XC", size L. The frame is much lower and generally smaller than in Kross. I bought XL (I'm 185 cm), so if anyone is wondering about the size, I recommend trying it on. I have to get used to the 1x10 system, I had 3x9. The brakes break in, the front is fine, but the rear has no feel at all, it jerks and knocks terribly when braking harder, and the wheel can suddenly lock up without warning. Adjusting the clamp helped a bit. My weight is approximately 110 kg. If I have time, I will go to the service center... The shock absorber is ok, but despite the stiff axles, the front disc can rub against the pads... The saddle is comfortable, the seatpost slid down on the first ride (there is some grease on the tube), the handlebar was curved to the wheel axis. the wheels are poorly tensioned, the stickers are difficult to see. but the derailleur is adjusted perfectly. the chain is a bit short, but with the crown (I replaced it) with a 32t one, there was no need to extend it. I came across a bike at a price of PLN 3,399, so I bought it.

Poor workmanship

Received with a defect on the thread of one of the two pedals, making it completely impossible to screw in despite all the precautions and care that I have taken. After all the time spent trying in vain to screw it in, this defect obviously ended up damaging the crankset by smoothing out the screw hole. Condemned to return the bike to the store even though I had it delivered to avoid having to transport it.

Perfect

Yes a lot

👍🏻

Bought as a replacement for a full suspension with 26" wheels and multi-platform at the front. I'm very happy with it, very easy to handle, very stable and the 29" wheels are just a joy!

Fine, with the necessary caveats

Recently bought this bike as a basis for a project, I plan to turn it into a so-called monster crosser. Then this is the least expensive bicycle that is for sale with thru axles. The thing looks good in my opinion, although a bit on the boring side. Since I like to ride with an oval front chainring, I ordered a nice red anodized sprocket from Garbaruk, it looks great, especially now that red bottle cages have also been screwed on. On the road for the first time after installing a pair of SPD pedals. It is immediately noticeable that the largest and smallest rear sprockets can be used with great difficulty. This can of course be solved, but upon delivery the bicycle should be ready to ride, as stated on the label. After properly braking the Tektro disc brakes, the brakes appear to be reasonably adequate for flat terrain, but their effectiveness is, for example, far surpassed by Shimano's MT200, Shimano's cheapest brake, in all areas (braking force, dosage, required squeezing force). A big disappointment is the standard tubeless rim tape. Due to particularly sloppy installation (crooked, many air bubbles, cracks), the wheels cannot be made tubeless without installing a new rim tape yourself. That is not a big challenge if you are a hobbyist who is familiar with tubeless things, but it is not appropriate and is just bad. What is also immediately noticeable is that, completely in keeping with current fashion, an extreme mountain gear has been installed, so that in the flat Netherlands and even in the Twente 'mountains' you only use the four smallest sprockets of the cassette. The other gears are so small that they only become useful if you do extreme climbing in the Alps. I quickly installed another cassette so that it is much better suited to Dutch flat conditions. It also turned out that one of the valves was broken, which meant that no air could be released from the rear tire, which is of course not useful if you are aiming for a tubeless set-up. Since the only solution turned out to be to puncture the tire to get it off the rim, Decathlon ordered a new tire. Delivery takes quite a long time, you have to wait a week and a half before your order arrives, while delivering a sprocket from Poland to the Netherlands only takes 2 days. That really needs to be improved Decathlon! What also needs to be improved is the knowledge of the employees. A tire in the wrong size was ordered because the employee does not know what size wheels the bicycle has. So now I had to wait another week and a half. Now some things seem very negative, but it is not, after some tinkering the bike turns out to ride fine. The thing feels great, accelerates smoothly thanks to the tubeless set-up and single tracks are a pleasure. Now add a 'crooked handlebar' and the monster crosser is complete.

Nice mountain bike

It's a very comfortable mountain bike, rather light but far from being a race bike like the 900GX. We are not high-end like the 900GX but far from entry-level as well. I gave it 3 stars for performance because we are on a bike more for comfort than speed but not on a heavy weight either. I like the explore range (I have the E-EXPL700) and I took it as a nice bike that I would leave at my parents' house and lend to my mom (so the 27.5 inch size S doesn't bother me) during my absence so that she can see the bikes are a little light and even more comfortable and lighter than hers which weighs 14.5 kg. I am convinced that she will appreciate it (while the 900GX which is well above it would not suit her, it is too designed for speed) because it is a very comfortable bike but while being rather light. Its price is very reasonable.

Mediocre fit

Hello, The fit of the bike was not good. I bought it at the Huixquilucan branch. A pedal came loose and fell off. After two weeks the slow rear deflated due to not having the pivot properly adjusted. Since I am from Toluca I have not been able to take it but I hope to take it soon at least to the Metepec branch and have it inspected as it should. Thank you.

An update to my previous review

Even after supposedly another repair and replacement of the brake disc, the knocking did not disappear. In fact, it looked like the disc had not been replaced. So I contacted the store manager and the whole bike was replaced with a new one, everything is fine there. Probably a defective piece, or possible damage during transport.
