Alright

Under warm, practical gloves

Excellent value for money

It's quite warm, a perfect liner even under ski gloves. You can handle the phone perfectly with it. I found one problem, the seams are weak, the thread immediately started to disintegrate at the wrist (it can be sewn).

A little fragile but obviously these are only under gloves.. otherwise keep it very very warm, perfect!!

Good as an underglove (warmth and comfort) and much more resistant than those made of silk. As a main glove, also good for the city (good look in burgundy color and pleasant to wear (t>5°)

I'm glad I bought it

Sometimes I used it with inner gloves and sometimes I used it alone. Comfortable, helpful in heating. I washed it in the machine a few times and there was no problem. In the past, I bought thicker gloves. This solution was much better.

Try them first...

Try them on first because I think they fit big. Satisfied with the thickness and thermal comfort.

Excellent underglove

Super nice gloves that protect my dead fingers

Took these under gloves to Sweden where we camped with -20 to -36. Setting up the tent was still cold but much better than without gloves. They did get wet with snow, but that also makes sense to me. I have used them very intensively for almost 4 weeks (even splitting wood) and they are still intact. My husband had 2 pairs of cheaper ones that he had a hole in within 1 day. I will buy another pair because with a blood vessel condition I always have dead fingers (in the Netherlands) until the temperature rises above +12 degrees. I really benefit from them and wear them on the bike and when I walk the dog in autumn

wear

Good product, warm, pleasant to wear, with repeated use, premature wear at the ends.

What does the dexterity of a glove refer to?

A glove's dexterity corresponds to its ability to handle objects with ease. Our liner gloves have been given a score from 1 to 5 in a laboratory study. The closer the score is to 5, the more the glove can handle objects in the same way as bare hands. In particular, tests were done to measure how easily it is to get a jacket on and open it with these liner gloves.

Warmth

When worn under hiking gloves, these liner gloves will give you 37°F (3°C) of additional warmth. This corresponds to the ambient temperature at which 100% of testers felt comfortable. For better protection, we recommend that you wear gloves over the liner glove.

How is usage temperature measured?

All our gloves are laboratory-tested using a thermal hand to determine their level of insulation and minimum temperature rating. The minimum temperatures for use (recommended and limit) are the result of a study carried out with a test panel of 23 walkers exposed to temperatures ranging from 41°F (5°C) to -4°F (20°C) and 10 km/h winds. These temperatures are only valid in walking conditions.

How to properly protect your hands from the cold

By applying the layering principle, you can optimise the insulation of your hands. Consequently, by wearing liner gloves in addition to gloves, several air gaps are created around your hands, which provide effective insulation from the cold. To achieve this, the gloves must be big enough not to compress your fingers. This is because the compression slows down the blood flow in the fingers, which prevents them from keeping warm.

Origin of the wool

We use wool from merino sheep bred on farms in South Africa that do not practise mulesing. We built a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino) to guarantee respect for animal welfare and the environment. This means we have full traceability, which allows us to guarantee the origin of the wool.

How to maintain your merino wool liner gloves

We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool liner gloves at 86°F (30°C) on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry them on a flat surface, away from moisture and all sources of heat. This could damage the fibre and make them lose their shape. Never put them in the tumble dryer.

Warning!

These gloves do not protect against the spread of viruses or microbes.

Product testing

Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field because we believe that the only way to continually improve is to test the products under the real-life conditions that you will experience.
