At this price ,it is very good and comfortable.i have faith on decathlon.so ......
Wanted something light to cope with tricky balance moments like crossing streams. Once you get the hang of the adjustment for length, these give a very positive support because the click os strong
The pole was very useful as support while trekking up the slope. It gave a good grip over the rocks as well as loose soil. Thanks to it I could go for trekking on consecutive days over hills around Karjat in Maharashtra.
Don't know where did the spring loaded button of the lowest part vanished without even using it for once. I hope to get replacement for it.
Helpful during our trekking in Himalayas. Comfortable and excellent support system.
At very affordable price, it survived our 2-day hike of Mt. Ugo's rugged terrain and slopes. Looking forward to use it to more mountains in the future!
The quality is really good in respect of its price. Mind that it is not of professional category product... .
Good for simple walking excursions, but would be improved if there was an cover for the tip for use in urban locations
Recently I also used this, for my treaking purpose. #buran ghati trek. Awesome stick, also adjustable.
Such a great product. Helped me alot on my trek. Easy to carry and light in weight.
I can't really give a review, because of a leg injury I haven't been able to use it but just plsyingvwith it at home it seems sturdy enough and collapses small enough to fit in my back pack
Fantastic price for a set of walking poles. I took them for their first outing yesterday. Great light weight walking poles. However, the holes in the sides were whistling in the wind which was quite annoying. I'll just tape the holes up next time. Im not sure how durable they'll be.
Reasonably priced and useful for hikes
- 100% Aluminum
- 100% Polyurethane
Fully designed and validated by our team. Why have we chosen the Push-pin? Some users do not want to make adjusting their poles more complicated than it needs to be. This system is simple, reliable, light and cheap. Why are the tubes oversize? Because this model is designed for walkers who need to be reassured about their reliability. Why a straight foam handle? Because our field tests have shown that comfort is better than with a plastic handle.
Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle. To adjust the length: press the button to release it from the hole, slide the tube until the button reaches the hole at the desired length. Use the line printed on the lower tube to align the button with the holes. Never go over the STOP line to avoid breaking the pole.
These hiking poles are designed to help you balance, propel yourself and spread the effort between the arms and legs. To increase safety, before you start and at regular intervals, check your pole's locking mechanism by pressing down hard on it. Do not attach to your rucksack in stormy weather.
Maintaining your poles properly enables you to maintain optimal function and increases their lifespan. After use, if water has got into the pole, take the parts apart and allow to dry. Clean any dust and mud with water or without, with a soft brush or paintbrush. Once dry, you can reassemble the parts. We recommend that you do not try to oil or grease them.
Here at Decathlon, we’ve decided to sell our hiking/backpacking poles individually. Partly for reasons of use. Indeed, some people only want to use one pole. So this meets their needs. Also, if one of your poles breaks, it means you can buy just a single pole rather than a complete pair.
To set our thresholds, we have measured the stresses on the poles in the most demanding situations. During the design stage, each model passes laboratory tests that reproduce these stresses (compression, 3-point flexing; etc.) until rupture. We also tests parts separately (tightening power, tearing, etc). Finally, these tests are regularly repeated during production to guarantee constant quality.
Store the poles without tightening the adjustment system in order to reduce the stresses on the system and protect their tightening power. Store poles in a dry place.
