Started to fall apart after the first wash, the material is surprisingly low quality

While silk is a high quality fabric with many benefits, it is also an extremely delicate material. For that reason we recommend always using this product as a liner with a pair of top gloves, and to take precautions when washing products that are 100% silk.

Fantastic product, highly recommend for winter mountaineering, great value for money.
Replacing the silk with a more conductive material now means that four of your digits get cold at the tip. The previous approach of adding something on top of the silk did not have this problem.

Inner glove fits as you'd expect see how they perform next ski season 2022. Expensive for what they are but then they all are!

Excellent glove liners. Best to try in-store for fitting although Medium fits me as expected. People who suggest they are not of good quality are, I suspect, using them as outer gloves, not liners. I'm using them for motorcycling under my winter gloves in harsh weather - perfect.
Thin enough to fit into other gloves. Comfortable cuff to keep heat in.
Good quality silk liner gloves, nice and thin so good to wear under a thicker more robust glove

The Trek 500 silk liner gloves have been improved as a result of the customer reviews we received. Thank you for sharing! From winter 2020, the fit of these liner gloves will be improved so that they stay more firmly in place when your arm is moving. The elasticated area at the cuffs will be slightly wider to provide better support. The touchscreen feature was also revised to make it more effective.
How to effectively protect your hands from the cold?
In the same way you wear several layers of clothing when backpacking, you can wear liner gloves under your gloves, that will act as a thermal base layer. This multilayer system enables several layers of air to form around your hands, efficiently insulating them from the cold! Remember to wear large enough gloves to avoid having your fingers constricted. Compression reduces blood circulation in the fingers.
What glove size should you choose?
When physically active, the body produces heat. This is preserved via the thermal insulation of the outfit. If your clothing is unsuitable, the body will get colder and blood flow to the hands will drop in order to retain heat in the central core. Gloves and clothing must be suitable to keep hands at a comfortable temperature. If you're unsure about the size, it's always better to opt for a pair of hiking gloves that are slightly too big than too small.
Dexterity of the liner glove
The dexterity of a glove is its ability to manipulate objects. Our gloves are given a rating in the laboratory on a scale of 1 to 5. The closer the dexterity rating of the glove is to 5, the more you can handle things with the gloves as if they were off. In particular, we tested how easy it is to get a jacket on and open it while wearing the liner gloves. The dexterity of Trek 500 100% silk liner gloves is rated 5 out of 5.
Recommendations for use
Although silk is a natural fiber that has many benefits, it is delicate. That's why we recommend you wear this model as a liner glove with a pair of gloves on top.
