Great value for money fleece vest, light enough to carry in your backpack. Ideal in summer and as an extra layer in winter. My personal favorite piece of clothing for outdoors.
Size spot on and nice tight fit around waist (38inch) Quite stretchy so you could size down with this garment if it was for running, hiking, etc
Excellent over jacket especially for hill walking/hiking in summer months,a must for the keen Rambler too add to their rucksack&put on for an extra layer on Peaks.I will be ordering more products like this from Decathlon,quality&price is paramount.Well Done.

A good product to buy only after wash fabric quality needs to be improved
I have been looking for a good quality fleece gilet for use in Summer, under waterproof, at home. Other makes were a lot more expensive. I ordered 2, which were supposed to arrive around 10 days after order.They arrived about 4 days after order. They fit quite snuggly. I am normally a medium, and ordered medium. The fit is fine, particularly for around the house as well as under my waterproof, which is quite snug. If you want more room, I would suggest buying a size up. I wore one yesterday, and it was a chilly day. It kept me nice and comfortable. These are totally recommended.

The fleece component is designed to trap air in the space formed by its texture; this air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm. It’s the brushing of the knit that locks in the air. This component has been tested in the laboratory for a comfort temperature ranging from 45 to 50°F without an additional jacket.
Durability warranty of 2 years
We test the aging of our hiking fleeces to guarantee their durability. We guarantee: - resistance to wear from backpacks and moving arms to delay the appearance of piling, which is specific to this material - the solidity of seams - the resistance of the fleece material after 3 washes (size stability) - color-fastness after washing, when exposed to UV or in contact with perspiration.

We carry out 2 types of thermal testing: - or a test of the material of our fleeces. - or on a thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. We reproduce the conditions of temperature, wind (3 mph) and humidity that you would encounter in the mountains walking at 3 mph in our testing chambers. These tests allow us to validate our design choices. So we can adapt our thermal insulation where you most need it.
