Product Customer Reviews

Buen producto para senderismo, lo uso cada domingo para ir a la montaña.
The walking stick is good quality and telescopes very nicely. I like the push button expansion instead of the twisting lock system of my other walking stick. I like the color too, but that is just my preference.
Great adjustable poles. My wife, kids, and I use them when we hike. they are easy to store and carry and it is great to be able to adjust them for kids and adults.
These are awesome, been backpacking without poles until I picked up a set for my partner and I. They seem to stay straight even with some misuse.
Fantastic for bushwalking. Helps with balance on uneven terrain or slippery ground. A must have if you're a keen bush walker or trekker.
I am impressed with the compact size, light weight and general quality of this inexpensive pole. I actually bought a second one, potentially to use for supporting a lightweight hiking tent. The only couple of minor negatives are that the wind sometimes "whistles" through the length adjustment holes, depending on the angle you hold the pole. The other is that it using a simple piece of thin cord as the wrist support instead of the usual strap. However I didn't find it uncomfortable during a 26 km hike.
Awesome product
I can't really give a review, because of a leg injury I haven't been able to use it but just plsyingvwith it at home it seems sturdy enough and collapses small enough to fit in my back pack
Perfect

Good value for the money
Hello Eben,
Thank you very much for leaving a review about this product.
We are glad that your are enjoying your new walking poles!
Have a great day and see you soon,
Decathlon Calgary Team
I watched a video so I knew how to walk with them. They help to propel me forward. I bought the rubber tips as well, at Décathlon, as they are quite noisy without them. I like the fact that they can be disassembled and will be short enough to go in a suitcase if I want to take them with me when I travel.
Solid and great value for price.
.
Excellent product. Great value for the price.
Additional Product Information
Composition
Shaft: 100.0% Aluminium ; Handle: 100.0% Polyurethane
How it was designed...
Fully designed and validated by our team. Why have we chosen the push-pin? Some users do not want to make adjusting their poles more complicated than it needs to be. This system is simple, reliable, light, and cheap. Why are the tubes oversized? Because this model is designed for hikers who need to be reassured about their reliability. Why a straight foam handle? Because our field tests have shown that comfort is better than with a plastic handle.
How to adjust your poles to the correct length
Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle. To adjust the length: press the button to release it from the hole, slide the tube until the button reaches the hole at the desired length.Use the line printed on the lower tube to align the button with the holes.Never go over the stop line to avoid breaking the pole.
Directions for use
These hiking poles are designed to help you balance, propel yourself, and spread the effort between the arms and legs.To increase safety, before you start and at regular intervals, check your pole's locking mechanism by pressing down hard on it.Do not attach to your backpack in stormy weather.
Care tips
Maintaining your poles properly enable you to maintain optimal function and increases their lifespan. After use, if water has gotten into the pole, take the parts apart and allow to dry. Clean any dust and mud with water or without, with a soft brush or paintbrush.Once dry, you can reassemble the parts. We recommend that you do not try to oil or grease them.
Why sell them individually?
At Decathlon, we have decided to sell our hiking/backpacking poles individually. First because of how they are used. Indeed, some people only want to use one pole. This meets their needs.Second, because if one of your poles breaks, you can buy only 1 pole rather than a pair.
Accessories sold separately and adapted to this model

Product testing
To set our thresholds, we have measured the stresses on the poles in the most demanding situations.During the design stage, each model passes laboratory tests that reproduce these stresses; etc.) until rupture. We also tests parts separately (tightening power, tearing, etc). Finally, these tests are regularly repeated during production to guarantee constant quality.
Storage instructions
Store the poles without tightening the adjustment system, to avoid stress and retain their hold power.Store poles in a dry place.
