Comfortable and durable walking shoe. Good value
I usually buy salomon walking shoes - but after being disappointed with the fit / size last time I chose to not to buy again. After a search I tried these and found them excellent - good fit, waterproof and comfortable on a long walk. Much better value than salomon with a hefty price tag on £75
Thst is the second pair of this shoes I bought. The last pair I was using the whole year. Very comfortsbke ftom thd day one. I'm wearing them every day for about 8hours. Definitely recommend!
Surprised buy, the fit was good and lasted me well for my holiday and kept my feet dry too .

Waterproof and comfortable
very nice and comfortable shoes
i recently bought some waterproof shoes for a trip to the Lake District, the weather wasn’t ideal and the shoes were used thoroughly. felt super comfy and didn’t let any water in
It has good cushioning and very comfortable for hiking, not to forget looks classy as well!! Very happy with my shoes:)
I have purchsed the shoes for Small trecks around Pune. However I am finding it skidding on rock in rainy season
not too heavy on your feet which makes it very suitable for hiking and fieldworks
I bought this for my wife as she had to to go for monsoon trip where they had some hiking and she felt it comfortable and it has super grip. Shoe height needs to be bit more since water entered the shoe if above ankles and cleaning is an issue
I bought these shoes to go to Glastonbury with work and didn’t get a chance to wear them in. It was hot and I did get blisters but after walking 48miles around site I feel they had a good breaking in! They are sturdy more than flexible but great in mud and damp grass and also in dry dusty conditions. Very pleased overall.
Reasonably comfortable but don’t like the type of laces

The grip of our soles is certified. To be awarded this certification, boots must pass laboratory tests to assess the grip level on different surfaces (Smooth, Rugged, Dry, Wet). To validate these tests, we assess the quality of our soles in the field and in the mountains, using a panel of representative testers over 310 miles
In a laboratory, the boot is immersed in water to mid-height on a mechanical arm that simulates a number of steps. With this test we can determine a time and number of miles that the boot can walk while staying dry. - 2000 bends, about 30 minutes of hiking - 10,000 bends, about 3 hours - 30,000 bends, approximately 8 hours - 50,000 bends, approximately 12 hours Then we confirm that the boot keeps its promises in use on the ground and in the rain.
To keep your feet dry, we advise you to use a gaiter or mini-gaiter to protect the top of your boots and prevent water and also pebbles and sand from getting in We advise re-waterproofing your boots twice a year using a re-proofing agent (search for ‘waterproofing’ on our decathlon website) that will help you restore the original water-repellent qualities and fight against stains on the outside.
‘The most important thing is to try on several styles of boots to find the one most suited to you! You can take a size above your usual one to prevent the toes from bumping into the toe box when going downhill, provided the foot is properly supported to avoid friction. Tip: keep your toenails short and, before descending, check that your lacing prevents your foot from sliding forward inside the shoe."
Some Decathlon stores are equipped with a test course. 1. Try on both boots while standing, with the socks worn for hiking. 2. Tighten the laces, taking care to correctly start the tightening. 3. Check 2 points: - the heel does not come up before the boot when you walk uphill. - the foot does not slide and the toes do not press against the front when going downhill. 4. Try on several sizes and models. Break them in gradually to adapt them to your foot.
The original insole in your boots is designed to accommodate most feet. A change of insole can bring: 1. Improved support: some soles are preformed or reinforced to better support the arch of the foot. 2. More comfort: the insoles can also provide heat and/or cushioning. 3. Longer life: restore the support and comfort of your boots by replacing the insole each season.
