Difficult to use in windy weather
Firstly, I am really pleased with the product overall, really good for the money. I am having trouble picking out the flag from the background on many occasions. I have to focus, click and wait for the buzz sometimes 4 or 5 times before the yardage is an approx match to my GPS watch, so I know it is picking up the flag and not the background, It could well be me! I have tried having the whole flag on the crosshairs, and I’ve tried just the flag, neither of which are guaranteed hits. I think I might need some training! I’m not giving up on it yet though.
Great product
more than perfect
This rangefinder almost never finds the flag and when it finds it the measurement is very inaccurate. On the other hand, it works precisely on larger targets. The note is void. She doesn't explain anything... in 50 languages.
I bought this product after reading online reviews and watching review videos on You Tube. Whilst it served me well for a couple of years, it got damaged thereafter and had to be junked. I contacted the company and was told it cannot be repaired, and that the likely cause of the damage is moisture. I was surprised to learn of this, as golf is an outdoor sport, also played in rain. The product manual itself also states that the product can withstand light rain. I doubt that the product waterproofing (and also it’s case) is built to an acceptable standard. At least not for Indian conditions ( such as monsoon). Frankly I’m disappointed. My friends who use other top brands have had no such problem with moisture for several years.
Sometimes struggle to get the rangefinder to lock onto the flag and it gives me a reading that is WAY too long. This means I don’t trust the yardages it gives me without checking on an app as well. This is a real shame.
Great rangefinder at a very affordable price.
Good
The measurement is quite often wrong, including at less than 100 meters due to insufficient precision of the laser beam as soon as the flag is not horizontal. Taking into account the altitude difference is good.
Like many Instructions for use, this one remains imprecise to make the various possible settings on this rangefinder.
A not very expensive binocular, but which often gives erroneous distance information (difficult to aim at the flag)
Also nice just the slope function
The ranging effect is very good, especially when there is morning fog in the morning, the distance between the flagpole and the target can still be quickly locked. The product has a slope correction function, which is very suitable for first-time users. The CP value of the product is very high, and it is worth purchasing.

Progress faster

Single or continuous measurement
A short press on the capture button lets you measure a distance while a long press lets you scan an area and the measurement will update in real time.
Slope and distance compensation mode
When the flag is uphill, you will need to use a club that lets you travel more distance than if you played a flat shot. Similarly, for a downhill flag, you will have to choose a club to travel less distance.The Inesis Laser 900 rangefinder provides you with the angle and the compensated distance to help you choose the right club.
Certified for competition
Distance compensation is not allowed in a competition. You can activate it by pulling the ring around the eyepiece, and deactivate it by pushing back this ring.As such, during your training sessions, you will be able to progress in estimating the compensated distance during shots played with a slope difference, while being able to use your Inesis Laser 900 rangefinder during competitions by deactivating the compensated distance function.
First target priority mode
In order to be sure that you are measuring the distance to the flag and not to the trees behind it, the Inesis Laser 900 rangefinder has a first target priority function that isolates the flag from the background for a more reliable and fast measurement.
Measurement confirmation by vibration
When the Inesis Laser 900 rangefinder measures a distance, this is confirmed by a vibration. You can disable this vibration confirmation if necessary.
Accessible and protected
The semi-rigid carry case protects your Inesis Laser 900 rangefinder in play and during transport.In play, you can leave the zip open for quick access to your rangefinder and close the case with the elastic band to stop it from falling out.This rangefinder is certified IPX2 (can handle light rain).
