Had this jacket for more than a year. It does its job very good. The materials do not have any signs of wear( had to wash it regularly as it is my daily commute jacket). The fit is not perfect but close enough. It is comfortable, the pockets are deep and have decent size. The chest pocket is very handy: perfect size for keys. It is built from 2 different types of fabric. The one on the chest and top of arms is thicker and offers good wind protection, it is also water repellent. The fabric on the sides offers good ventilation. The side zips are perfectly positioned and add extra ventilation when needed. The jacket has enough reflective bands on it to be elegant yet still very practical.
This jacket is an amazing piece of equipment. I used in 3 degrees temperature and wasn't cold at all. Does a very good job at keeping out the wind as well. Excellent value. Totally recommend. BTW - As I've found with most Decathlon cycle clothing, it's nearly always necessary to go a size up from your normal. I'm usually medium, but the large is a perfect fit for me.
On the whole this jacket is great, I wore today with a heavy base layer in a temperature of Minus 1 on an hours commute and was warm all the way. The little buff that comes with it keeping out any neck chills. I have worm on longer rides at temperatures of between 5-10 degrees and stayed comfortable throughout. The only negatives I have are the stupid cuff arrangement making wearing winter gloves bulky to say the least and as some one else mentioned the "80's american soap opera" shoulder pads are not my favourite. The overall performance is on par with my other big brand jackets that cost two/three times as much.
Ideal for winter riding
I have been looking a while for a decent jacket for winter riding but didnt want to break the bank to buy one. This jacket for the price is just fantastic. i wore this with a base layer and a cycling jersey and on a cold december morning i was toasty, bordering on too hot ! in future i would just wear a base layer under. The neck warmer is a brilliant addition. I`m 5'9 and 165lb and a size large is a great fit. My only negatives would be that the shoulders just dont sit right and look like i have some kind of 80`s shoulder pad feature going on and also the lengths of the sleeve are long. But they go over your gloves and dont let any cold in so could be a positive ? All in all this is a fantastic product. Some people i know pay more than triple this cost for other brands (castelli / Rapha ) dont bother just get B`TWIN !
Meets all my needs, wore for the first time on a blustery day in November and I was warm for all 30 miles. Quality material with great features under arm vents neck warmer (which is removable) skin tight cuffs on the sleeves, Nice touch. Plenty of reflective material to keep you visible in the dark winter days. Enough pockets for your needs. Great product and comfortable.
Potřeboval jsem nějakou cyklistickou bundu do jarního/podzimního počasí. Tahle bunda to perfektně splňuje. Vnitří nákrčník se dá odepnout. Jediné co, tak bych uvítal, kdyby se větrací průduchy daly otevřít víc. Jinak jsem s ní velmi spokojen.
