These are fantastic value for kids. Definitely makes a difference to their enjoyment for road and MTB cycling
Bought these tights for my 12yo for cycling. They are rather thin material but the price is excellent for clothing that will be grown out of all too soon.

Every ride, maybe later that day or during the ride, or the next day the complaints rolled in. Not any more! My lad loves these so much he's out on his bike more. Fit, stretch, comfort, he says is excellent.

Not used yet by my grandson as too cold . However tried on and felt okay but very small . Bought aged 12 and he is 8 . Just about fit !!!!!
The quality of the lycra does a good job of wicking sweat and is not see-through so can be worn on their own, however the pad is either incorrectly placed, or too small. All adult chamois pads have protection that come high around the 'more delicate regions' and offer protection as well as a bit of modesty, these shots end way short of this and leave nothing to the imagination. Kids say the bum pad keeps them comfortable for longer rides so kudos on achieving this on a £5 pair of shorts.
Grandaughter loves them
Decent fit and good amount of stretch should help them last a while for my fast growing son
