I bought a 10/11 yo size for my 8yo daughter hoping to get 2 seasons out of it. She has used in once, and we forced her to use it. I had to fight her way into it and could not really make it fit to any form of comfort… it resulted in cries for the whole period she wore it.

Definitely recommend sizing up son was 10 when purchased and we got a 14 we probably should have gotten a 15, but he didn't feel the cold like normal
Just purchased this in store for my 10 year old son. He is avg hight and slim, size 10Y fitted him well, bit of wiggle room and he said it was comfortable. No issues getting it on or off.

There is next to no stretch if your kid is overweight this ain’t the suit for them, it won’t easily go over my kids hands
Too small for advertised age group
Liked the style and colour but my daughter, who even being very slight had real trouble getting the sleeves and legs over hands and ankles. Nearly pulled her feet off trying to get it off (slight exaggeration but seriously tight) in terms off length and fit around body it was fine, just very tight on arms and legs as stated. Gave it 2 star for quality, but can’t recommend.
I bought a 2mm Tribord full length kids wetsuit in January 2020 which is excellent. Decided to get another now for my other daughter, but she complained the fit was really uncomfortable under the arm pits. She and her sister are very similar size and body shape (and the Tribord fits them both perfectly), so got them to switch around - and the other girl had the same issue, so definitely a problem with the cut of this suit. In all other respects it is great, just a shame they have changed the fit here. Gonna have to go back - alas the 2mm Tribord one isn't available any more.

Wir haben den Anzug jetzt für den ersten Schwimmkurs, der in einem Badesee stattfindet, genutzt. Er ist super bis auf eine kleinigkeit: Die Ärmel sind dermaßen eng das unser kleiner da nicht mit der Hand durchkommt. Er passt an sich perfekt in der Länge und ist auch gut anliegend. Unser Sohn ist eher von der kleinen und schmalen Statur. Da wäre es wünschenswert wenn man an den Ärmeln auch einen Reisverschluss machen würde wie an den Beinen schon. Wir haben den Anzug nur nutzen können in dem ich die Ärmelenden wie eine wurstpelle umgestülpt und über die Hand gerollt habe. Da die Ärmel eh ein klein wenig zu lang sind ist das kein problem. Aber Fact ist: Die Ärmel sind viiiiieeeeel zu eng!
An sich ist der Neopren ja ganz gut, aber die Auswahl der Größe ist schwierig. Eine Größentabelle gibt es nicht. Das Onlinetool "Größenhilfe" zum berechnen der Größe funktionierte bei diesem Artikel leider nicht. Daher leider zu klein und zurückgeschickt...
Haben diesen Neoprenanzug für unsere Tochter gekauft, die demnächst endlich ihren langersehnten Surfkurs besuchen wird. Im Gegensatz zu Neoprenanzügen anderer etablierter Surfermarken fand sie diesen sehr bequem und auch unser Geldbeutel freut sich bei gleichzeitig so guter Qualität.

How to choose the right wetsuit ?(part 1)
The first selection criterion when choosing a surfing wetsuit is the water temperature. Water temperature varies according to the location and the time of the year. Systematically make sure that the water temperature at your spot corresponds to the recommended temperature range: Warm water above 70°F. Temperate water between 62 and 70°F. Cold water between 53 and 62°F. Very cold water between 45 and 54°F. Visit the site seatemperature.org to find out the temperature of your spot.
How to choose the right wetsuit ?(part 2)
The 2nd criterion to take into account is the length of your sessions. If your sessions last less than an hour, the 100 models will be suitable. For up to 2 hours, opt for the 500 models, and for up to 3 hours, the 900 models.Compared to the 100 models, the 500 models will be warmer (and more watertight) and more efficient at reducing fatigue (more freedom of movement) and irritation. The same is true for the 900 models compared with the 500 models.NB: the 900 models are easier to put on.
Choose the right size
To make the most of the features of your wetsuit, it is necessary to choose the correct size. A surfing wetsuit should be a very tight fit to ensure the best possible thermal efficiency. It is perfectly normal to have the impression it is too tight when trying it on in a fitting room or at home. This discomfort quickly disappears once the suit gets wet.
Materials
This Tribord 100 2/2 wetsuit is made with genuine neoprene to ensure even better thermal insulation. The neoprene is lined with polyester fabric for added resistance to wear. Neoprene thickness: 2 mm. Neoprene is a closed-cell polychloroprene elastomeric foam with trapped nitrogen bubbles that have insulating properties. We test and guarantee the thermal quality of our neoprene materials.
Neck
The neck finish has been developed to limit irritation. According to the sensitivity of the wearer, a UV top can be worn under the wetsuit to reduce the risk of irritation. The application of grease (e.g. Vaseline) in friction areas (neck, underarms, knees) is also recommended if wearing the wetsuit for long periods.Make sure the flap is always inside the wetsuit to limit the risk of irritation with the zipper and the neck.
Fastening
Our zippers and fastenings are laboratory-tested in order to ensure an optimal lifespan and good resistance to salt water. We have put the zipper at the back of the wetsuit for more comfort during surf sports (when lying down to paddle).
Zipper pull
We are required by law to put a short cord on the zippers of junior products to prevent the risk of strangulation for the youngest users. For older children, you can add a longer cord so that they can operate the zipper themselves. A small rip-tab prevents accidental opening of the zipper during use.
Anti-chafing design
We designed this product with seamless panels under the arms to limit irritation due to the repetitive paddling movements associated with surf sports.
