My son loves these shoes! I think we have brought at least 6 pairs of these shoes in the past in various sizes. He reports that they are good for jumping, climbing, running and riding his bike. They are ‘super speedy shoes’. I like them because they are supportive in his feet, not too heavy, wash and dry well, and have held up well to lots of playing. Fabulous product Decathlon and the fabulous price is a happy bonus!

Good value for money trainer that did the job when my little one soaked his main shoes. He said his rebok trainers were more comfortable but I think it’s because these had more structure. But you can’t moan for the crazy low price
The shoes were fitted nicely and of good quality. The insoles were also comfortable, though a gel type or more softer insole would have been preferred.

Sole grip
Sole design that has been the subject of extensive research in our laboratories, combined with a specific rubber formulation to optimize grip and traction. As needs are not the same, we systematically seek the best trade-off for progressing in both loose terrain and dry terrain.
Buying tips
Allow kids to try on both boots, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Check 2 comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. Avoid all pressure points when trying boots on. Gradually start using you boots during your first few hiking trips to break them in. On the internet, you can print the pedometer and check the kid’s foot length.
Which size should i select
For hiking, do not hesitate to buy 1 size larger than the usual size to guarantee excellent comfort on the descent and to avoid toes rubbing at the tip of the boot. Tip: keep your toenails short, and before going downhill at any time, check that your laces are tight enough to stop your feet slipping down toward the front of the boots.
