Product Customer Reviews

Great little rain jacket for children
Perfect for my 6yo with more room to grow into.
Does what is specified
Very light weight... havent had a chance to fully test the waterproof-ness yet. But seems to do a good job. Great to throw in the school bag. Sizing is quite small tho... a size 10 fits my seven year old with not a lot of spare room. And my three year old fits into the 6 without it being crazily oversized.
Wanted a good waterproof jacket, but didn’t want to pay a lot of money for one. This jacket ticket all the boxes: Quality Great price Appearance Waterproof to a high standard, more than expect tbh.
My son is 11 and I bought the size 14-15 abd it's coming up small unfortunately. Lovely Jacket other than that.
Very good fit and keep the rain out.
The jacket is very nice but unfortunately the size is too small for my daughter so I have to order another one.
A reasonable jacket, which my daughter says was comfortable. The material is very thin, only protects against light drizzle. Unfortunately the zip broke after only a couple of wears. Such a shame as I have been pleased with past waterproof jacket purchases.
Perfect product. Perfect price.
A very practical product, takes little space and is a must be item in a school bag. Perfect for holidays and days out when you don't know about the weather too
Good quality product but I bought the age 12 for my son and it's a bit small. I'm hoping it will last out the summer without having to get a bigger one.
Excellent in an emergency, good wind proofing
Fit my son well
Actually bought this for my daughter - she really likes it. Seems well made and to do the job.

The component's waterproof properties
This garment has been subjected to a 2-hour shower test using 60 liters of water/sqm/hour. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains. A component with a waterproof rating of 2,000 mm is able to resist the pressure exerted by 2,000 mm of water (roughly equivalent to a 2 hour rain shower). Waterproofing is expressed in Schmerbers (for example: 2000 Schmerbers).
Component breathability
To find out if a fabric is breathable, measure its evaporative resistance RET (test based on ISO 11092). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more water vapor generated by physical activity evaporates, and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / 9
Practical details
Can be packed away in its pocket, and worn like a bumbag around the waist. Central zip opening, hood, elasticated cuffs and waistband
Durability of the components
Resistance to wear test: the fabric, for example, is laboratory tested to check that the fleece doesn’t pill. Color-retention test: the colorfastness is verified to make sure that the colors do not run when coming into contact with saliva. Aging test: repeated washing must not affect the properties of the fabric, its behavior, thickness or appearance.
Care
1/ Machine wash (86 to 104°F): rip-tabs closed, mild detergent. Wash jackets and pants inside out. Loosen straps and elastics. 2/ Avoid folding the garment too much in the washing machine, as: this can damage it. 3/ Do not mix the clothing styles and the colors. 4/ Do not use bleach. 5/ Choose a long rinse and gentle spin cycle. 6/ Either line or tumble dry (low temperature, short cycle).
A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire lifecycle using various indicators. An overall rating from A to E is given to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing and contrasting products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon actively promotes this environmental rating initiative. For more information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
