We take care of our planet to preserve our natural playground and contribute to the pleasure of hiking. Therefore we opted for a lining of recycled polyester fibers. Our way of limiting our carbon footprint.

The advantages of a synthetic padded lining

The padded lining is an interesting alternative to feathers:
- good thermal insulation capacity even when wet
- rather breathable and can be used for dynamic activities (feather lining is recommended for static activities)
- Ease of care: machine washable at 86°F and can go in the dryer

A bodywarmer keeps your body nice and warm: Your chest, neck and lower back are well protected; these are the bodyparts that cool down quickly.
Sleeveless so easy to pack in a rucksack, very breathable when worn during your activity and great freedom of movement when worn underneath a jacket.
The bodywarmer is and excellent garment for hikes.

Product Testing

All our bodywarmers have been tested in the laboratory on thermal models with 5km/h wind, simulating a hike requiring moderate effort. This allows you to make the best choice by comparing their thermal insulation level on a scale of 1 to 5.
