Product Customer Reviews

Having used it to descend the Herault I must say that I am very surprised by the robustness of this packraft! With a 20 kg bag and a body weight of 80 kg he perfectly withstood currents exceeding his capacities, despite the shocks he remained intact. Very practical and relatively comfortable.
Packraft is light and relatively roomy. You put 2kg in your backpack and you have a mobile boat with you. It's definitely not a speed demon, but it wasn't created with that in mind - it's supposed to be light and inexpensive equipment for a not very advanced user. In my opinion, a very nice product.
Very practical because you can always take it with you. I am very satisfied
Great products value for money, having already tested “top of the range” sincerely top
I have already gone sailing with this a few times, from small river arms to large rivers with obstacles and currents. He is solid, provides sufficient support & survived every adventure in style. In my group, people sailed with boats that were easily twice as expensive... and that didn't seem like a disadvantage. I bought two of these.
Let me start by saying that I have other inflatable boats for white water, I also wanted to try this packraft. Obviously it is an object designed for rivers or lakes, since in this period the waterways are poor due to lack of rain, I tested it in the sea. It has the advantage that it weighs very little and fits easily in a small backpack, so I took it to the beach, inflated it with the bag in a very short time and put it in the sea. Of course it's not a lightning bolt, as it doesn't have a hull, but it's fine for traveling a few hundred meters and reaching a cove is fine. I also tried going with two people, with the passenger sitting on the cushion and me paddling sitting on the bow, with a little balance you can do it. In short, it is certainly a versatile object that I will use a lot even in winter.
Świetny packraft na bagna i małe rzeki. Ja uzywam go nad rozlewiskami. Przyczepiony do 10 litrowego plecaka nie stanowi problemów przy dłuższych wędrówkach
It does not take up space, is lightweight and very practical to use. It dries quickly, just wipe it with a towel. Its performance at sea is not bad either.
Light and small pontoon. Perfect for a lazy day. Very slow and mega torsion. It's a huge minus. it would be useful to add fins to improve controllability. I have no problem with my 3 year old. As a start and to use it once in a while, it's a great solution.
Small packraft very pleasant to use. The pump bag is really a great idea. If like me you are 1.90m tall you have the maximum height to use it
It is not white water wignet. But a tour on the low mountain range river is fine. The material is stable and can sometimes make contact with the ground with a stone without anything happening. The light weight is really impressive
Used intensively for 2 seasons at sea, in all conditions, including big waves. Very stable on water and resistant to wear. Incredibly light, easy to use, inflate, squeeze. Ideal for sweat during vacations, being very compact.
Very good product Very light Very manageable Resistant Inflation and very practical transport with the bag In addition it is beautiful! I recommend !!!!
stabile
After Johann wrote something about the combination of folding bike and packraft here - which ultimately motivated me to buy it - I can only confirm after a first short test that the packraft 100 is well suited in combination with a Brompton (I put the Brompton itself in an Ikea DIMPA bag and lashed it to the boat). The weight at the front (about 13 kg the wheel) gives the boat relatively good directional stability (I will probably do without a fin for the time being, which can be retrofitted via the most well-known packrafting store in Germany). A video test with an even larger folding bike on the Itiwit Packraft 100 can be found on the web by a Polish Packrafter (with subtitles) - and he also recommends it. In any case, a good entry-level product for packrafting - in still or calmer waters. The processing seems to be good and is also confirmed in all tests. Unbeatable in terms of price. Full recommendation, especially at the special price. I am 1.86 tall and weigh under 95kg. Space wise it's okay and it's comfortable too - I can't comment on longer distances. Well done, Décathlon (another excellent product in addition to the successful entry into the longtail market). Please note that the manufacturer's loading limit is 110kg, which is probably sufficient in most cases. The bigger brother - the Packraft 500 - can withstand more, but is also much heavier - and more expensive. In any case, comparable products from the competition are about twice as expensive.

Dimensions how heavy is it?
When the kayak is inflated:> length: 205 cm> width: 95 cm> height: 40 cmWhen stored in its bag:> height: 25 cm> width: 40 cm> thickness: 25 cm> full weight: Less than 2 kg (in total: packraft, pump bag, inflation tube, seat, repair kit)
Why go packrafting?
Packrafts are an adventure in waiting for those passionate about outdoor sports. This experience brings together at least two sports and allows you to vary your activities and enjoy the landscapes between the ascent and the descent differently.Tour on foot or by bike, for one or several days, you will reconnect with nature and enjoy it as much as possible!
What is the difference between rafting and packrafting?
Rafting and packrafting can be enjoyed on rivers with a varying number of rapids. In rafting, you are in a team on the same craft, and you steer the raft with a simple paddle (canoe style) and head downriver. In packrafting, you head upstream and then paddle downriver in your packraft (we recommend that you stay together as a group, and use a double paddle (kayak-style).The packraft stands alone and weighs only 2 kg, while the raft, weighing around 80 kg and can be carried between the group.
How was the design worked on?
A packraft in the colours found in river scenery to allow you to have an immersive experience. For safety reasons, the orange allows you to remain visible at all times and to be tracked on the water. The Itiwit teams have created different prototypes in order to test the different shapes and provide you with maximum manoeuvrability and good stability. In the interest of compactness, the packraft only has the essentials so that it can keep up with you on all your adventures.
How to inflate the packraft.
Connect the tube to the valve of the packraft as well as to the valve of the inflation bag. Open the bag fully to trap a maximum amount of air. Close the top of the bag and roll it to allow the air to pass into the raft. You can press it with your knees to help. The packraft is sufficiently inflated when you can no longer inflate it with the bag. Use the same technique to inflate your seat.
What does the kayak bag contain?
The pack includes:-The “pump bag”: storage bag which is also the bag which will help you to inflate the packraft - the tube- the packraft- the seat- a repair kit
Safety on the water
Remember to use an ISO 12402-5 buoyancy aid waistcoat and an EN 1484 helmet when you head out onto rivers.
