I have had an Itiwit3 for almost 10 years which gives me complete satisfaction. I bought this one (its little brother) to do short coastal hikes on my own. The quality has clearly dropped! In particular, the side bladders are larger than their fabric cover, and I even wonder if I was not put 2-seater kayak bladders on a 1-seater kayak. They are therefore forced to make lots of folds (especially towards the rear, near the valve), which creates wear in the corners of these folds, which turn into holes. I have already had to put 2 patches, one for each bladder. I never had this problem with my Itiwit3, although much older, but with the well-adjusted bladders. In any case, it's very exciting to travel miles to find a good spot and have to return without doing anything.

I have tried other brands but the material is not as good as this one. Additionally, this can be easily repaired by other brands.
Ok, I recommend it
The experience so far with this kayak is not fully justified, but it must be taken into account that at the first inflation, following the manufacturer's instructions and reaching only 10 psi, the base exploded. The defect was solved under warranty, but it made me lose a day. On the second try, I didn't even try to inflate more than 10 psi. Somehow out of fear...
Well thought out product. Inflated in 3 minutes. Stable. Which looks solid and quality. Minimal bulk when folded in its bag. Really satisfied.
Used a handful of times and today I have discovered the right bladder is leaking and will not stay inflated. Absolutely gutted. Kayak was well cared for with all instructions followed and very much loved by myself and the children to get out on the water for fun and memory making. No more kayak for us now.
After a few uses, bumps formed in the stability flap slide rails that prevented insertion. Contacted Decathlon (Grugliasco and Olbia offices) who were unable to justify the reason why these anomalous bumps were generated as they were present in exactly the same places in all three fins. Proposed cost for the repair of 90 euros (30 euros per track) despite it being completely obvious that it is a manufacturing defect. I strongly advise against the purchase.

perfect for beginners
Vehicle suitable for beginners, thanks to its stability and ease of driving. Very fun and practical to set up and carry in its comfortable backpack. Robust and versatile. Excellent product at more than affordable prices.
The kayak is great and very practical. Very comfortable and stable for relaxed walks. However, with the brutal price increase (25%) that decathlon carried out in 1 year, the quality-price ratio of the product is starting to no longer compensate for your purchase.
Product was thrown over gate by DPD drivers and has caught the top of the gate and damage packaging and kayak. I’m unsure who to contact have contacted DPD they’re not interested and Decathalon cannot get hold of customer service. Can you help please wanted this kayak for the weekend

Inflation recommendations and precautions
Inflate the floor, then one of the side tubes, then the second one to 50%. Check the overall positioning of the chambers. Then, inflate it all to 100% without exceeding 0.1 bar (1.5 PSI).DO NOT OVER-INFLATE!Fully close all of the valves.Install the 3 keels, unless using on a river containing little water.In the event of EXTREME HEAT, slightly deflate the kayak out of the water to avoid overinflation, which could damage the kayak.Do not leave inflated in the sun: risk of overinflation.
Care instructions
In the event of damage to one of the side chambers, open the side tube lengthwise using the zipper and remove the chamber.The floor can be uncovered by opening the velcro fastenings.Example 1: The hole is in the side tube; You can use the repair kit to stick on a patch.Example 2: The hole is located along a seam; Visit the workshop of a DECATHLON store to repair or exchange the bladder.
Easy to disassemble and fold
New carry bag, backpack style for short distances.Easy-clip fins.Dry and deflate the kayak by unscrewing the 3 ”Boston” valves.Fold the lateral tubes down onto the floor.Roll starting from the opposite side to the valves to remove the air.Place the rolled-up kayak into the main compartment of the bag.Close the zipper and tighten using the compression strap.
